Claims (5)
- 連続鋳造設備において鋳型から引き抜かれた鋳片を誘導加熱する鋳片加熱装置であって、
前記鋳片に誘導電流を生じさせる導体からなるコイルと、
前記鋳片と前記コイルとの間において前記鋳片の上面及び側面の上部を一体的に覆うように設けられる耐火物と、
前記コイル及び前記耐火物を、前記鋳片に対して相対的に移動させて、前記鋳片と前記コイル及び前記耐火物との間隔を変更する移動機構と、
前記コイル及び前記耐火物を前記移動機構に連結する支持部と、
前記鋳片を挟み、前記鋳片の側面と平行に配置されて、前記コイル及び前記耐火物の上下方向の移動をガイドする一対のガイド部と、を備える鋳片加熱装置。 - 前記耐火物は、前記鋳片の流通方向に垂直な断面でみたときにコの字状の本体部と、該本体部の両端に前記鋳片側とは反対側に突出した突起部で構成される鍔部と、を有し、
前記移動機構によって、前記コイル及び前記耐火物は、前記鍔部の先端が前記ガイド部の内壁に摺動しながら前記ガイド部に沿って移動する、請求項1に記載の鋳片加熱装置。 - 前記コイル及び前記耐火物の移動を制限する位置決め手段を有する、請求項1又は2に記載の鋳片加熱装置。
- 前記鋳片の形状の異常を検知する検知部をさらに備え、
前記検知部の検知結果に基づいて、前記コイル及び前記耐火物を移動させる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の鋳片加熱装置。 - 連続鋳造設備において鋳型から引き抜かれた鋳片を誘導加熱する鋳片の加熱方法であって、
導体からなるコイルによって前記鋳片を誘導加熱する加熱工程と、
前記コイル、並びに前記コイルと前記鋳片との間において前記鋳片の上面及び側面の上部を一体的に覆うように設けられた耐火物を、前記鋳片に対して相対的に移動させて、前記鋳片と前記コイル及び前記耐火物との間隔を変更する移動工程と、を有し、
前記移動工程では、前記鋳片を挟み、前記鋳片の側面と平行に配置された一対のガイド部によって前記コイル及び前記耐火物の上下方向の移動をガイドする、鋳片の加熱方法。
