Description
Claims (15)
- 内燃機関のシリンダと関連する第1のエンジン・バルブを作動させるための装置であって、前記内燃機関は、第1のモーション源から前記第1のエンジン・バルブへモーションを伝達するための第1のモーション伝達機構と、第2のモーション源から少なくとも1つの第2のモーション・シンクへモーションを伝達するための第2のモーション伝達機構とをさらに備え、前記第1のモーション源及び前記第2のモーション源は一意に前記シリンダに関連しており、装置は、
前記第2のモーション源及び前記第1のエンジン・バルブに作動可能に連結されるよう構成され、且つ前記第2のモーション源から前記第1のエンジン・バルブへのモーションを伝達するようさらに構成された第3のモーション伝達機構と、
前記第1のモーション伝達機構及び前記第1のバルブに作動可能に連結され、且つ前記第1のモーション伝達機構から前記第1のバルブへのモーションの伝達を選択的に切断するようさらに構成されたモーション・デカップラと、
前記第2のモーション伝達機構及び前記第3のモーション伝達機構に作動可能に連結され、且つ前記第2のモーション伝達機構の動作に基づいて、前記第3のモーション伝達機構から前記第1のエンジン・バルブへのモーションの伝達を選択的に切断するようさらに構成されたリセット機構と
を備える装置。 - 請求項1に記載の装置を備え、
前記モーション・デカップラと作動可能に連結されるよう構成され、且つ前記モーション・デカップラに、前記第1のモーション伝達機構から前記第1のバルブへのモーションの伝達をいつ切断するかを指示するようさらに構成されたコントローラ
をさらに備える、システム。 - 前記第3のモーション伝達機構及び前記リセット機構が、前記内燃機関に取り付けられるよう構成されたハウジング内に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第2のモーション伝達機構がロッカー・アームを備え、前記第3のモーション伝達機構及び前記リセット機構が前記ロッカー・アーム内に配置される、請求項1に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のモーション伝達機構が、第1のロッカー・アームを備え、
前記第2のモーション伝達機構が、第2のロッカー・アームを備え、
前記第3のモーション伝達機構が、前記第2のモーション源からモーションを受けるよう構成されたマスター・ピストンと、前記第1のエンジン・バルブにモーションを伝達するよう構成されたスレーブ・ピストンと、前記マスター・ピストンと前記スレーブ・ピストンとの間を流体連通させる油圧回路とを備える、請求項1に記載の装置。 - 前記第3のモーション伝達機構が、前記内燃機関に取り付けられるよう構成されたハウジング内に配置される、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記第3のモーション伝達機構が前記第2のロッカー・アーム内に配置される、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記油圧回路に油圧流体を供給するよう構成されたチェック・バルブ
をさらに備える、請求項5に記載の装置。 - 前記チェック・バルブがその内部に配置されたコントロール・バルブをさらに備える、請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記リセット機構が、前記油圧回路と流体連通し、且つ前記油圧回路からの油圧流体を放出するよう構成されたバルブを備える、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記リセット機構が、前記油圧回路と流体連通し、且つ前記油圧回路からの油圧流体を受けるよう構成されたアキュムレータを備える、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のモーション源及び前記第2のモーション源がそれぞれ排気カム及び吸気カムを備える、請求項5に記載の装置。
- 前記吸気カムがロスト・モーション・リフト・プロファイルを備える、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記排気カムがロスト・モーション・リフト・プロファイルを備える、請求項12に記載の装置。
- 前記第1のモーション源及び前記第2のモーション源が、排気カム及び吸気カムにそれぞれ作動可能に連結されたプッシュロッドを備える、請求項5に記載の装置。
