- 音響天井タイル用ウェットレイド基礎マットであって、乾燥重量ベースで、ショットを含め50%以上の鉱物ウール繊維と、9%未満の結合剤と、5%から20%のチョップドストランドグラスファイバーと、を備え、
前記チョップドストランドグラスファイバーが前記鉱物ウール繊維をベースとする前記基礎マット素地全体にランダムに空洞を形成し、かつ/又は空洞を維持し、
乾燥状態で基礎マットが120kg/m3から168kg/m3(7と1/2ポンド毎立方フィートから10と1/2ポンド毎立方フィート)までの間の密度を有し、
NRC(騒音減少係数)が0.55より大きく最大0.95とすることを特徴とする音響天井タイル用ウェットレイド基礎マット。 - 前記チョップドストランドグラスファイバーの長さが、呼び寸法で6.4mmから12.7mm(1/4インチから1/2インチ)までの間であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の音響天井タイル用ウェットレイド基礎マット。
- 前記チョップドストランドグラスファイバーの直径が、呼び寸法で13.5マイクロメートルから16.5マイクロメートルまでの間であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の音響天井タイル用ウェットレイド基礎マット。
- 前記音響天井タイルのNRC(騒音減少係数)が0.95であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の音響天井タイル用ウェットレイド基礎マット。
