Description
従って、本発明は以下の成分:
の配合物を含むホットメルト接着剤組成物であって、
上記接着剤組成物中で用いられる第1のポリマー成分は、ポリプロピレンインパクトコポリマーである。より具体的には、第1のポリマー成分は、プロピレン−エチレンインパクトコポリマーである。プロピレン−エチレンインパクトコポリマーは、高い剛性及び優れた衝撃強さを示す結晶性ポリマーである。かかるインパクトコポリマーは、多様な供給者から入手可能であり、比較的に低い重量パーセンテージのエチレンを含有し、広範なメルトフローインデックス及び物性を有することができる。
1.エチレングリコールジステアレート、エチレングリコールモノステアレート、グリセロールモノ及び/又はジオレエート、PEGジオレエート、PEGモノラウレート、ソルビタンモノラウレート、ソルビタントリオレエートを始めとする、グリセロールエステル、PEGエステル、及びソルビタンエステルなどの脂肪酸エステル。これらの界面活性剤は、ICI、ローヌプーラン、及び他の供給源から入手可能である。
2.オクチルフェノールエトキシレート、ノニルフェノールエトキシレート、アルキルアミンエトキシレートを始めとするアルキルフェノールエトキシレート、アルコールエトキシレート、アルキルアミンエトキシレートなどの非イオン性エトキシレート。これらの界面活性剤は、ローヌプーラン、ユニオンカーバイド、及び他の供給源から入手可能である。
3.エアープロダクツから入手可能な2,4,7,9−テトラメチル−5−デシン−4,7−ジオールなどの非イオン性界面活性剤。
4.ユニオンカーバイド、BASF等から入手可能な、エチレンオキシド/プロピレンオキシドコポリマー。なお、これら及び他の界面活性剤を、必要であれば、親水性の性能特性の最良の配合を生み出すために配合することができることに留意されたい。

ブルックフィールド粘度は、ASTM D−3236の方法に準拠し、163℃で試験した。
全ての配合物は、以下の方法を用いて、300g規模で製造した。475mLの鋼製の槽に、鉱油、酸化防止剤、粘着性付与樹脂、及び、存在させる場合は、ワックスを仕込んだ。配合物を徐々に目標温度(177〜190℃)まで加熱するために、デジタル制御された加熱炉(heating mantel)及び槽内の内部熱電対をタンデムで用いた。混合物の外観がほぼ均一になった後、溶液を100〜200rpmの間で機械的に撹拌し、低弾性率ポリオレフィン(PO)を徐々に添加し、続いてインパクトコポリマー(ICP)を添加した。得られた透明乃至はやや曇った溶融混合物を、完全に均一化したように見えるまで、目標温度にて更に30〜120分間保持した。この時間の後、槽を加熱炉から取り出し、試験のために試料を収取した。表1は本発明の実施例組成物を概説し、重要な物性を表2に示す。
Claims (31)
- 以下の成分、
約2.5重量%〜約30重量%のポリプロピレンインパクトコポリマーと、
約2.5重量%〜約30重量%のオレフィン系エラストマーと、
約10重量%〜約70重量%の、少なくとも約80℃且つ約140℃までの軟化点を有する粘着性付与樹脂と、
約0重量%〜約60重量%の可塑剤と、
約0.1%〜約5%の安定剤又は酸化防止剤と
の配合物を含むホットメルト接着剤組成物であって、
前記成分の合計が100重量%の前記組成物となり、前記組成物の粘度が163℃において約20,000mPa・s以下である、前記ホットメルト接着剤組成物。 - 約5重量%〜約20重量%の前記ポリプロピレンインパクトコポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約7.5重量%〜約15重量%の前記ポリプロピレンインパクトコポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約5重量%〜約20重量%の前記オレフィン系エラストマーを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約7.5重量%〜約15重量%の前記オレフィン系エラストマーを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約25重量%〜約65重量%の前記粘着性付与樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約30重量%〜約60重量%の前記粘着性付与樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約95℃〜約140℃の軟化点を有する粘着性付与樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約1重量%〜約25重量%の、EVA、APAO、PE、PP、PB、SIS、SI、SBS、SB、SIBS、SEB、SEBS、SEP、SEPS、SBBS、SEEPS及びこれらの配合物よりなる群より選択される追加の補助的ポリマーを含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約1重量%〜約15重量%の前記補助的樹脂を含む、請求項9に記載の組成物。
- 15,000mPa・s以下の163℃における粘度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 10,000mPa・s以下の163℃における粘度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 5,000mPa・s以下の163℃における粘度を有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約10重量%〜約50重量%の前記可塑剤を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 約20重量%〜約40重量%の前記可塑剤を含む、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリプロピレンインパクトコポリマーが10g/10分と250g/10分との間のメルトフローレートを有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリプロピレンインパクトコポリマーが20g/10分と200g/10分との間のメルトフローレートを有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリプロピレンインパクトコポリマーが50g/10分と150g/10分との間のメルトフローレートを有する、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記オレフィン系エラストマーがメタロセン重合されたプロピレン/エチレンコポリマーである、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記メタロセン重合されたプロピレン/エチレンコポリマーが約5重量%〜約16重量%のエチレンを有する、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記メタロセン重合されたプロピレン/エチレンコポリマーが約1〜約25のメルトインデックスを有する、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 前記メタロセン重合されたプロピレン/エチレンコポリマーが約0.858g/cm3〜約0.888g/cm3の密度を有する、請求項19に記載の組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物により接合された、
不織材の第1の層と、
不織材の第2の層と、
前記第1及び第2の不織層の間に配置された1又は複数のエラストマー基材と
を備える、弾性積層体。 - 前記1又は複数のエラストマー基材が弾性ストランドである、請求項23に記載の弾性積層体。
- 請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物により接合された、
不織材の第1の層と、
フィルム材の第2の層と、
前記第1及び第2の層の間に配置された1又は複数のエラストマー基材と
を備える、弾性積層体。 - 前記フィルムがポリエチレンフィルム、ポリプロピレンフィルム、エチレン−プロピレンコポリマーフィルム又は布帛状被覆フィルム材を含む、請求項25に記載の弾性積層体。
- 前記1又は複数のエラストマー基材が弾性ストランドである、請求項25に記載の弾性積層体。
- 不織材の第1の層であって、請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物によりフィルム材の第2の層に接合された前記第1の層を備える積層体。
- 前記フィルム材が、ポリエチレンフィルム、ポリプロピレンフィルム、エチレン−プロピレンコポリマーフィルム又は布帛状被覆フィルム材を含む、請求項28に記載の積層体。
- 請求項1に記載の接着剤組成物を含む物品。
- 使い捨ておむつ、衛生ナプキン、ベッドパッド、包帯、手術用被布、テープ、ラベル、プラスチックシート、不織シート、紙シート、厚紙、本、フィルター、又は包装材を含む、
