Description
そして、液体燃料運転から気体燃料運転への切り替えに起因して気体燃料の噴射量の減量補正を行う期間を減量補正期間とした場合、同減量補正期間内における気体燃料の噴射量の減量補正量の総和が上記減量補正の総量となるように、減量補正期間内での気体燃料の噴射に減量補正の総量を分配することが好ましい。
例えば、算出した上記減量補正の総量を、減量補正期間内での最初の気体燃料の噴射用の即時減量分と、減量補正期間内での2回目以降の気体燃料の噴射用の除変分とに分配するようにしてもよい。この場合、即時減量分の値を、最初の気体燃料の噴射時における減量補正量が2回目以降の気体燃料の噴射時における減量補正量よりも多くなるように設定し、各除変分の値を、減量補正期間内での気体燃料の噴射回数が増す毎に徐々に減少されるようにそれぞれ設定することが好ましい。
(ガソリン運転からCNG運転への切り替え)
図4には、マルチフューエルエンジンの運転をガソリン運転からCNG運転に切り替えたときの運転切替時適合処理の実行結果の一例が、同処理を実行しない場合と比較して示されている。
図5には、マルチフューエルエンジンの運転をCNG運転からガソリン運転に切り替えたときの運転切替時適合処理の実行結果の一例が、同処理を実行しない場合と比較して示されている。
(1)本実施形態のマルチフューエルエンジンの燃料供給装置は、ガソリン運転からCNG運転に切り替えられたとき、ウェット補正によるCNG噴射量の減量補正を行う。そのため、CNG運転切替後の空燃比のリッチ化を、ひいてはそのリッチ化による燃焼の不安定化を抑えることができる。
・上記実施形態では、CNG運転からガソリン運転への切替時に、ポート壁面のガソリン付着量の推定値を「0」にリセットすることで、ガソリン運転切替後のウェット補正によるガソリン噴射量の増量補正を行うようにしていた。こうしたガソリン付着量の推定値のリセットを行わず、ガソリン噴射量の増量補正を通常のウェット補正とは別途に行って、ガソリン運転切替後の空燃比のリーン化を抑制するようにしても良い。そうした場合にも、その増量補正の量を、ガソリン運転切替後の時間の経過に応じて徐々に減少させるようにすれば、実際のポート壁面のガソリンの付着状況の推移に応じた的確な増量補正を行えるようになる。
・上記実施形態では、減量補正の総量(総補正量)が、運転切替時のポート壁面のガソリン付着量となるようにガソリン運転からCNG運転に切り替えられたときのウェット補正によるCNG噴射量の減量補正を行っていたが、総量を別の値としても良い。
Claims (6)
- 液体燃料を吸気通路内に噴射することで燃料供給を行う液体燃料運転と、気体燃料を吸気中に噴射することで燃料供給を行う気体燃料運転とを、エンジン運転中に切り替え可能なマルチフューエルエンジンの燃料供給装置において、
前記液体燃料運転から前記気体燃料運転に切り替えられたとき、前記気体燃料の噴射量の減量補正を行うようになっており、
前記減量補正の総量を、前記液体燃料運転から前記気体燃料運転への切り替え時に前記吸気通路の壁面に付着していた前記液体燃料の量に前記気体燃料の理論空燃比に対する前記液体燃料の理論空燃比の比を乗算した値とし、
前記液体燃料運転から前記気体燃料運転への切り替えに起因して前記気体燃料の噴射量の減量補正を行う期間を減量補正期間とした場合、同減量補正期間内における前記気体燃料の噴射量の減量補正量の総和が前記減量補正の総量となるように、前記減量補正期間内での前記気体燃料の噴射に前記減量補正の総量を分配する
ことを特徴とするマルチフューエルエンジンの燃料供給装置。 - 前記減量補正の量を時間の経過に応じて徐々に減少させる、
請求項1に記載のマルチフューエルエンジンの燃料供給装置。 - 算出した前記減量補正の総量を、前記減量補正期間内での最初の前記気体燃料の噴射用の即時減量分と、前記減量補正期間内での2回目以降の前記気体燃料の噴射用の除変分とに分配し、
前記即時減量分の値は、前記最初の前記気体燃料の噴射時における減量補正量が前記2回目以降の前記気体燃料の噴射時における減量補正量よりも多くなるように設定されており、
前記各除変分の値は、前記減量補正期間内での前記気体燃料の噴射回数が増す毎に徐々に減少されるようにそれぞれ設定されている
請求項1に記載のマルチフューエルエンジンの燃料供給装置。 - 前記気体燃料運転から前記液体燃料運転に切り替えられたとき、前記液体燃料の噴射量の増量補正を行う、
