Description
エンジンの冷却水を冷却するラジエータと、前記冷却水と変速機の作動流体とを熱交換させる熱交換器とを備えた流体温度調整装置において、
前記エンジンと前記ラジエータとの間で前記冷却水を一方向に循環させる循環流路と、
前記エンジンより下流側かつ前記ラジエータより上流側で前記循環流路から分岐された第1流路と、
前記ラジエータより下流側かつ前記エンジンより上流側で前記循環流路から分岐された第2流路と、
前記熱交換器の冷却水出口と連通すると共に、前記ラジエータより下流側かつ前記エンジンより上流側で前記循環流路に合流する第3流路と、
前記第1および第2流路の何れか一方と前記熱交換器の冷却水入口とを選択的に連通させる切替バルブとを含むことを特徴とする。
Claims (3)
- エンジンの冷却水を冷却するラジエータと、前記冷却水と変速機の作動流体とを熱交換させる熱交換器とを備えた流体温度調整装置において、
前記エンジンと前記ラジエータとの間で前記冷却水を一方向に循環させる循環流路と、
前記エンジンより下流側かつ前記ラジエータより上流側で前記循環流路から分岐された第1流路と、
前記ラジエータより下流側かつ前記エンジンより上流側で前記循環流路から分岐された第2流路と、
前記熱交換器の冷却水出口と連通すると共に、前記ラジエータより下流側かつ前記エンジンより上流側で前記循環流路に合流する第3流路と、
前記第1および第2流路の何れか一方と前記熱交換器の冷却水入口とを選択的に連通させる切替バルブとを含み、
前記切替バルブは、
前記第1流路と連通する第1入力ポートと、
前記第2流路と連通する第2入力ポートと、
前記熱交換器の冷却水入口と連通する出力ポートと、
軸方向に移動して前記第1および第2入力ポートの何れか一方と前記出力ポートとを選択的に連通させるスプールと、
前記スプールを前記軸方向に付勢するスプリングと、
前記スプールに取り付けられた熱膨張材とを含み、
前記熱膨張材は、前記作動流体の温度に応じて、前記スプールが前記スプリングにより付勢されて移動するのを許容すると共に、前記スプールを前記スプリングの付勢力に抗して移動させ、
前記切替バルブは、前記作動流体の温度に応じて前記第1および第2流路の何れか一方と前記熱交換器の前記冷却水入口とを選択的に連通させることを特徴とする流体温度調整装置。 - 前記第3流路は、前記循環流路と前記第2流路との分岐部よりも下流側かつ前記エンジンより上流側で前記循環流路に合流することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の流体温度調整装置。
- 前記切替バルブは、前記作動流体の温度が第1温度未満であるときには、前記第1流路と前記熱交換器の前記冷却水入口とを連通させると共に、前記作動流体の温度が前記第1温度よりも高い第2温度以上であるときには、前記第2流路と前記熱交換器の前記冷却水入口とを連通させることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の流体温度調整装置。
