Description
本開示は、概して、無灰燃料添加剤としてのアミンに関し、更にアミンを含む潤滑剤組成物に関する。
多くの内燃機関、例えば、船舶、列車、オートバイ、スクーター、ATV、及び芝生装置に見られるものは、燃料及び潤滑剤組成物の混合物を燃焼させる。具体的には、混合物が、エンジン(機関)のシリンダ内に導入され、燃焼されてピストンを動かし、そしてエンジンを動かす。潤滑剤組成物は、エンジンの様々な構成要素(例えば、シリンダ及びピストン)を潤滑し、且つ燃焼、燃費、排出及びエンジンの寿命を最適化するために燃料に添加されている。潤滑剤組成物は、基油及び添加剤、例えば、耐摩耗添加剤、分散剤、及び清浄剤を含む。
圧縮点火内燃機関用の潤滑剤組成物が開示されている。潤滑剤組成物は、(i)ASTM D2896に従って試験した際に、約275〜約600mg KOH/gの全塩基価(TBN)を有する無灰燃料添加剤としてのアミン;及び(ii)スルホン酸金属塩、フェノール金属塩(金属フェノレート)、サリチル酸金属塩、カルボン酸金属塩、チオホスホン酸金属塩、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される清浄剤を含む。潤滑剤組成物は、ASTM D2896に従って試験した際に、約20mg KOH/g〜約130mg KOH/gのTBNを有する。アミンは、潤滑油組成物のTBNの約30%を超えて寄与する。
圧縮点火内燃機関用の潤滑剤組成物(「潤滑剤組成物」)は本明細書に開示されている。潤滑剤組成物は、無灰燃料添加剤としてのアミン(「アミン」)及び清浄剤を含む。潤滑剤組成物は、1種以上のアミン、即ち、1種類のアミン又は2種以上のアミンを含み得る。アミンは、塩基性で、基油及び燃料に溶解性であり、且つ化学的に安定であり、さらに、燃焼時に灰を生成しない(即ち、ASTM D 874により及び当該技術分野で理解されるように無灰である)。通常、「無灰」との用語は、有意な量のナトリウム、カリウム、カルシウム等の金属の不在を意味する。

実施例1〜4は本開示による潤滑剤組成物である。実施例1〜4は、アミン、清浄剤、及び分散剤を含む。実施例1〜4の潤滑剤組成物中の成分及びそれぞれの成分の量を以下の表1に記載する。
清浄剤は、過塩基性スルホン酸カルシウム清浄剤である。
消泡剤は、シリコーン消泡剤である。
流動点降下剤は、ポリメタクリレート流動点降下剤である。
分散剤は、ポリイソブチレン無水コハク酸ポリアミンである。
酸化防止剤は、オクチル化/ブチル化ジフェニルアミンである。
耐摩耗添加剤は、ZDDPである。
Claims (10)
- 圧縮点火内燃機関用の潤滑剤組成物であって、
(i)無灰燃料添加剤としてのアミンであり、
(ii)スルホン酸金属塩、フェノール金属塩、サリチル酸金属塩、カルボン酸金属塩、チオホスホン酸金属塩、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される清浄剤;
を含み、
前記潤滑剤組成物のTBNが、ASTM D2896に従って試験した際に、20〜130mg KOH/gであり;且つ
前記潤滑剤組成物の前記TBNへの、前記アミンのTBN寄与が、30%を上回る、
前記潤滑剤組成物。 - 前記潤滑剤組成物の前記TBNへの前記アミンのTBN寄与が、前記潤滑剤組成物の前記TBNへの前記清浄剤のTBN寄与よりも大きい、請求項1に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 前記清浄剤が過塩基性の金属を含む、請求項1又は2に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- ポリイソブチレン無水コハク酸ポリアミン及び/又はポリアルケニルスクシンイミドポリアミンを更に含む、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物であって、前記ポリイソブチレン無水コハク酸ポリアミン及び/又はポリアルケニルスクシンイミドポリアミンが、200〜3000g/モルの質量平均分子量(Mw)を有する、前記潤滑剤組成物。
- 米国石油協会(API)のグループIの油、APIのグループIIの油、APIのグループIIIの油、APIのグループIVの油、APIのグループVの油、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される基油を更に含む、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 60℃の温度で90日間にわたり曝されても均一なままであり且つ相分離しない、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- ASTM D874に従って試験した際に45,000ppm未満の硫酸灰分値を有する請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物。
- 船舶用シリンダ潤滑剤組成物であって、
(i)無灰燃料添加剤としてのアミンであり、
(ii)スルホン酸金属塩、フェノール金属塩、サリチル酸金属塩、カルボン酸金属塩、チオホスホン酸金属塩、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される清浄剤
を含み、
前記潤滑剤組成物のTBNが、ASTM D2896に従って試験した際に、20〜130mg KOH/gであり、且つ
前記潤滑剤組成物の前記TBNへの、前記アミンのTBN寄与が、30%を上回る、
前記船舶用シリンダ潤滑剤組成物。 - 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項に記載の潤滑剤組成物を用いる内燃機関の潤滑方法であって、
(A)燃料及び潤滑剤組成物をシリンダ内に噴射して混合物を形成する工程であって、 前記潤滑剤組成物が、
(i)無灰燃料添加剤としてのアミンであり、
(ii)スルホン酸金属塩、フェノール金属塩、サリチル酸金属塩、及びそれらの組み合わせから選択される清浄剤
を含み、
前記潤滑剤組成物のTBNが、ASTM D2896に従って試験した際に、20〜130mg KOH/gであり、且つ
前記潤滑剤組成物の前記TBNへの、前記アミンのTBN寄与が、30%を上回る、前記工程;及び
(B)燃料及び潤滑剤組成物を含む混合物を圧縮点火により燃焼する工程;
を含む、前記方法。
