Description
転動体に玉を使用した軸受であっても、潤滑環境の悪い真空、高温、水中等の用途の予圧での使用はピーリング等の不具合を生じ易く、逆に予圧を掛けないで使用する場合にはフレッチングを生じ易く、最大荷重を受ける転動体の接触圧力が大きい、等の欠点を内包していた。
そこで本発明の目的は、このような問題を解消し、通常稼働時は予圧の掛かった状態で軸受を長寿命化し、組み付け時やメンテナンス時は作業性の良い予圧無しの状態となる転がり軸受を提供することにある。
さらにこれらの転がり軸受において有効となる使用方法を特徴とする。
なお、本図の調心機構は本発明の要件ではないので、調心機構の無い円筒ころ軸受、ニードル軸受、または円錐ころ軸受などにも適用出来る。

Claims (8)
- 外周面に内輪軌道を有する内輪と、内周面に外輪軌道を有する外輪と、前記内輪軌道と前記外輪軌道との間に介在する複数の転動体と、前記転動体の動作時の公転と自転比率を変えることにより前記転動体同士を非接触とする“自律分散式転がり軸受”の構成を備えた連続鋳造用ガイドロール軸受であって、定常稼働中の前記内輪と前記外輪の温度差以下に設定された内外輪下限温度差を有し、前記内外輪下限温度差では前記転動体の過半数が前記内輪軌道と前記外輪軌道から正の接触圧力を受ける予圧状態であり、前記内輪と前記外輪が略同一温度の状態においては、前記正の接触圧力が開放されることを特徴とする転がり軸受。
- 前記内輪が前記外輪よりも前記内外輪下限温度差以上高温である状態において、前記転動体の過半数が前記内輪軌道と前記外輪軌道から受ける正の接触圧力の最大値が1.5GPa以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。
- 少なくとも外周面に内輪軌道を有する内輪と、内周面に外輪軌道を有する外輪と、前記内輪軌道と前記外輪軌道との間に介在する複数の転動体で構成され、前記転動体同士が直接的に、あるいは転動体間の隔壁と介して間接的に、接触することを防ぐ機構を有する連続鋳造用ガイドロール転がり軸受の使用方法であって、定常稼働中に、別途設計された軸受の内外輪下限温度差以上に前記内輪が前記外輪より高温に曝される状態において、前記転動体の過半数が前記内輪軌道と前記外輪軌道から正の接触圧力を受け、前記内輪と前記外輪が略同一温度の状態においては前記正の接触圧力が開放されていることを特徴とする前記転がり軸受の使用方法。
- 定常稼働中における軸受空間容積に対するグリース量または潤滑油量が10%以下であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の転がり軸受の使用方法。
- 内外輪の温度差を制御する加熱手段、若しくは冷却手段を前記軸受の前記内輪及び/または前記外輪に併設したことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の転がり軸受の使用方法。
- 定常稼働中の前記内輪温度が120℃以上であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の転がり軸受の使用方法。
- 前記内外輪下限温度差が8℃以上であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の転がり軸受の使用方法。
- 別途設計された前記軸受の前記内外輪下限温度差の2倍の温度差が前記内輪と前記外輪との間に生じた場合において、前記転動体の過半数が前記内輪軌道と前記外輪軌道から受ける正の接触圧力の最大値が4GPa以下となるような軸受箱としたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の転がり軸受の使用方法。
