Claims (6)
- 内燃機関(1)であって、
少なくとも1つのシリンダと、
燃焼ガス(G)の少なくとも1つの供給導通路(8)と、
本内燃機関(1)から排気ガスを搬出する少なくとも1つの排気ガス導通路(7、7’)と、
を含んでおり、
前記供給導通路(8)を介して本内燃機関(1)に供給できる燃焼ガス(G)のガス品質を決定する測定装置(2)が利用され、該測定装置(2)は、本内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスが供給できる少なくとも1つの触媒ユニット(3)と、該触媒ユニット(3)の変換率の特徴であるパラメータを検出するために該触媒ユニット(3)の下流側に設置された少なくとも1つのセンサー(4)とを含んでおり、本内燃機関(1)に供給される燃焼ガス(G)のガス品質は、前記センサー(4)によって確定される、前記触媒ユニット(3)の変換率の特徴的であるパラメータに応じて、ガス品質を決定する前記測定装置(2)によって決定でき、
前記測定装置(2)が、本内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスの一部だけが該測定装置(2)を通流するように構成されていることを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 前記センサー(4)はCO濃度を決定するセンサーである、請求項1記載の内燃機関。
- 前記測定装置(2)は前記触媒ユニット(3)の上流側に少なくとも1つの別のセンサー(4)を含んでいる、請求項1または2記載の内燃機関。
- 請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の内燃機関(1)の稼動方法であって、本内燃機関(1)からの排気ガスの一部だけが前記測定装置(2)を通流され、前記触媒ユニット(3)の変換率のパラメータの特徴が前記少なくとも1つのセンサー(4)によって測定され、前記燃焼ガス(G)のガス品質が、前記触媒ユニット(3)の変換率の特徴である確定されたパラメータに応じて導き出されることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記触媒ユニット(3)の変換率のパラメータの特徴はCO濃度である、請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記触媒ユニット(3)の変換率の特徴であるパラメータは該触媒ユニット(3)の上流側および下流側で測定され、前記燃焼ガス(G)のガス品質は測定された差異に応じて導き出される、請求項4または5記載の方法。
