本出願は、2011年11月15日に出願した米国仮出願第61/560,122号の利益を主張するものである。本願には上記出願の開示内容の全体が参照により含まれる。
本開示は一般的にプラスチック容器の形成および充填に関する。より具体的には、本開示は、逆延伸ロッドおよび/または底部押上部材を用いて、複数回のブロー成形が行われる容器を形成する工程に関する。
本節は本開示に関する背景情報を提供するものであるが、それが必ずしも先行技術であるとは限らない。

容器10が十分に構造上の結合性を有すること、などが可能となるように、容器11の材料を所望の通りに確実に分布させるよう設計することができる。
ブローノズル18は、流体(空気)を第1の型12に導入して第1の形状14を形成する従来の様式であってよい。ブローノズル28はまた、続いて第2の型16に流体を導入し、第2の形状18を形成してもよい。幾つかの実施形態においては、同一のブローノズル28が第1の形状14と第2の形状18を形成するが、他の実施形態においては、第1の形状14と第2の形状18をそれぞれ形成する個別のブローノズルが用いられる。
Claims (10)
- 容器の形成方法であって、
上記容器の第1の高さを有する第1フォームをブロー成形する工程と、
上記第1フォームのブロー成形後に上記容器の第2の高さを有する第2フォームをブロー成形する工程と、
上記容器の上記第2フォームをブロー成形する前に上記容器の上記第1フォームの高さを、上記第1の高さから、上記第1の高さおよび上記第2の高さよりも低い中間高さにまで減少させる工程と、を含み、
上記第1フォームの上記高さを減少させる工程は、上記第1フォームの底部を上記第1フォームの上端部に向かって押し上げる、逆延伸ロッドを用いて上記高さを減少させる工程を含み、
上記第1フォームをブロー形成する工程は、上記第1フォームが第1の高さを有するよう、第1の型の中でブロー成形する工程を含み、
上記第2フォームをブロー成形する工程は、上記第2フォームが第2の高さを有するよう、第2の型の中でブロー成形する工程を含み、
上記第1フォームの上記高さを減少させる工程は、上記第2フォームをブロー成形する前に、上記第2の型の中で行われることを特徴とする方法。 - 上記逆延伸ロッドを加熱する工程をさらに含み、上記第1フォームの上記高さを減少させる工程は、加熱された上記逆延伸ロッドを用いて上記高さを減少させる工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 上記第1フォームの上記高さを減少させる工程は、上記第2フォームの底部の表面を形成するために、上記逆延伸ロッドを用いて上記高さを減少させる工程を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 上記第2の高さは、上記第1の高さよりも1パーセントから30パーセント(1%〜30%)低いことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 延伸ロッドと、逆延伸ロッドとの間で上記容器の底部を協調して保持する工程をさらに含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 容器を成形するための成形システムであって、
上記容器の第1フォームをブロー成形可能な、第1のブロー成形用型と、
上記容器の第2フォームをブロー成形可能な、第2のブロー成形用型と、
上記容器の上記第2フォームをブロー成形する前に上記容器の上記第1フォームの高さを、上記第1フォームの底部を上記第1フォームの上端部に向かって押し上げることにより減少可能な、逆延伸ロッドと、を備え、
上記第1のブロー成形用型は、上記第1フォームが第1の高さを有するよう成形するために上記第1の高さを有し、
上記第2のブロー成形用型は、上記第2フォームが第2の高さを有するよう成形するために上記第2の高さを有し、
上記逆延伸ロッドが、上記第1フォームの高さを、上記第1の高さから、上記第1の高さおよび上記第2の高さよりも低い中間高さに、上記第1フォームが第2の型の中に配置されている間に減少可能であることを特徴とする、成形システム。 - 上記容器の上記第1フォームの上記高さを減少させながら上記容器の上記第1フォームを加熱するために、上記逆延伸ロッドを加熱するヒーターをさらに備えることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の成形システム。
- 上記逆延伸ロッドが、上記第2フォームの底部表面を形成可能であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の成形システム。
- 上記逆延伸ロッドが、上記第1フォームが第1の型の中に配置されている間に上記第1フォームの上記高さを減少可能であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の成形システム。
- 延伸ロッドをさらに備え、上記延伸ロッドおよび上記逆延伸ロッドは、上記延伸ロッドおよび上記逆延伸ロッドの間で上記容器の底部を協調して保持可能であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の成形システム。
