Description
Claims (12)
- バイオセンサー・カートリッジ、
間隙によって分離された上面を持つコアを各々が有する2つの磁気サブユニットを有する、前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジにおいて第1磁場を生成するための第1バイオセンサー磁石アセンブリ、
を有するバイオセンサー・システムであり、
前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジに含まれるセンサー面は、前記コアの上面の上に配置され、前記2つの磁気サブユニットは、第1サブユニットと第2サブユニットとの間において、前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジにおける磁性粒子に力を及ぼすように、前記センサー面に平行である第1磁力線を持つ前記第1磁場を生成するように適合され、前記2つの磁気サブユニットの各々のコアの上面は、前記センサー面に平行な平面部分と、前記センサー面に対して傾斜磁場が生じるように前記平面部分に対して傾斜した傾斜部分とを有し、
第2磁場を生成し、前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジ内の磁性粒子に力を及ぼすために第2バイオセンサー磁石アセンブリが前記センサー面の上に配置され、
前記第2バイオセンサー磁石アセンブリと前記2つの磁気サブユニットのうちの少なくとも一方を電気的に駆動することによって前記第2磁場を独立に制御する制御手段をさらに有し、
前記制御手段が、前記第2磁場に、前記センサー面に垂直な方向の第2磁力線を含ませ、前記第2磁力線は、前記磁性粒子が前記センサー面に平行な方向に並進するのを阻止する磁壁として機能する、
バイオセンサー・システム。 - 前記傾斜部分は、前記センサー面の垂直面に対して鈍角をなすように形成されている、請求項1に記載のバイオセンサー・システム。
- 前記2つの磁気サブユニット及び前記第2バイオセンサー磁石アセンブリは、前記制御手段の電気的制御によって前記センサー面へ向かう方向に作用する力及び該センサー面から離れる方向へ作用する力を生成することができるように配置されている、請求項1に記載のバイオセンサー・システム。
- 前記2つの磁気サブユニットのうち少なくとも1つは、電磁気サブユニットであり、各磁気サブユニットの磁場強度は、前記制御手段の電気的制御によって別々に変更可能であり、前記力の方向及び/又は大きさは変更可能である、請求項1に記載のバイオセンサー・システム。
- 前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジの分析体積の全体が、前記2つの磁気サブユニットによって生成される磁場によって影響を与えることが可能である、請求項1に記載のバイオセンサー・システム。
- 前記上面を持つコアは、前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジのセンサー面の垂直面に対して100°から170°傾いた傾斜部分を有する、請求項1に記載のバイオセンサー・システム。
- 前記上面の各々は、前記センサー面から0.1mmから5mmの間で間隔が取られた平面部分を有する、請求項1に記載のバイオセンサー・システム。
- 請求項1に記載のバイオセンサー・システムで磁性粒子を作動させる方法。
- 前記磁場は、前記第1バイオセンサー磁石アセンブリに近い前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジの第1領域において存在する磁性粒子の動作をステアリングし、前記第1バイオセンサー磁石アセンブリから離れた該バイオセンサー・カートリッジの第2領域において存在する磁性粒子は、前記第1領域の中へと動くのを妨げられる、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記2つの磁気サブユニットの少なくとも1つの極性を変えるステップを含む、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記第1及び/又は第2バイオセンサー磁石アセンブリは、前記バイオセンサー・カートリッジにおけるセンサー面に対して平行及び/又は垂直な方向において所定の傾斜磁場を生成する、請求項8に記載の方法。
- 前記2つの磁気サブユニットは、前記第1サブユニットから前記第2サブユニットまで方向付けられ、引き続き非結合粒子を洗い流すために、該第2サブユニットから該第1サブユニットまで方向付けられる磁力線を生成するように適合された、請求項8に記載の方法。
