Description

The present invention relates to an electrical device case, and more particularly to an electrical device case having a support that supports the electrical device and a cover that receives the electrical device together with the support.

An electric device mounted on a vehicle such as an automobile such as a circuit board on which electronic components are mounted or an electric motor battery may be housed in a case in order to protect it from dust or water. Such an electrical equipment case is generally used by assembling and using a support body and a cover that support the electrical equipment as separate members, and it is necessary to assemble the equipment so that it does not rattle due to vibration during driving of the automobile. There is. For example, there is a structure in which both the support and the cover are provided with slits (cuts) that fit relative to each other, and the respective slits are inserted into each other in the cut direction (see Patent Document 1). .

According to the structure of Patent Document 1, a support body and a cover having side walls formed by bending a plate material are formed, and slits cut into a predetermined length are provided in portions of each side wall that are orthogonal to each other. In the state where the slits are fitted to each other, the end face (plate thickness portion) of the other slit comes into contact with the wall surface of the one side wall, so that rattling in two directions orthogonal to the rising direction of the side wall can be suppressed. .

Actual Application No. 1-137731

However, in the structure of Patent Document 1, the assembling direction of the support and the cover is the slit extending direction (side wall rising direction), and although the rattling in the two directions can be suppressed, the slit extending Since there is no engagement in the direction (the direction in which the cover is removed), bolting or the like is required separately, and there is a problem that the assembling work is complicated. Moreover, when the support body used as the object which processes a slit is metal and a cover is metal, there exists a problem that it is difficult to process for fitting slits accurately.

In view of the above background, an object of the present invention is to prevent rattling and facilitate processing in an electrical device case having a structure in which a support and a cover are assembled.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the present invention provides a metal support (6) that supports an electric device (3) and a combination that is assembled in a direction approaching the support to cover the electric device. An electric device case (1) having a resin cover (7), protruding from the support body toward the cover and having an engaging recess (11a); and the cover An elastic engagement piece (16a) having an engagement projection (16a) that is provided and is in contact with one side of the protruding piece and to be fitted into the engagement depression in the assembled state of the support and the cover. ) And an abutting portion (17) that abuts a part (6b) of the support body from the other side facing the one side at least in the vicinity of the protruding piece. In the assembled state, the support body Characterized in that said projecting piece is to be elastically sandwiched between the elastic engaging pieces and the abutment.

According to this configuration, in the metal support and the synthetic resin cover that are assembled so as to approach each other, the support is provided with a protruding piece that protrudes toward the cover and has an engagement recess, and the cover is in an assembled state. Thus, an elastic engagement piece having an engagement convex portion that abuts on one side of the protruding piece and is fitted into the engagement concave portion is provided, and the support and the cover are assembled. The cover assembled in this way is provided with an abutting portion that abuts against a part of the support from the other side facing the one side of the protruding piece with which the elastic engagement piece abuts. Since the projecting piece is elastically held between the elastic engagement piece and the elastic engagement piece, rattling between the support and the cover can be prevented. Moreover, since the contact portion and the elastic engagement piece are formed on the elastic member, they can be easily processed.

A plurality of the projecting pieces (11) may be provided, and at least two sets of the elastic engagement pieces (16) and the contact portions (17) corresponding to the projecting pieces (11) may have different clamping directions.

According to this configuration, the plurality of sets of the elastic engagement pieces and the contact portions are provided so that the holding directions by the elastic engagement pieces and the contact portions are different from each other. It is possible to suppress rattling between the support and the cover against directional vibrations.

Moreover, it is good for the said contact part (17) to be provided in a pair on the right and left of the said elastic engagement piece (16).

According to this configuration, a pair of abutting portions that abut against the elastic engaging piece that abuts on one side of the protruding piece from the other side and sandwich the protruding piece are provided on the left and right sides of the elastic engaging piece. Therefore, the holding state of the protruding piece by the elastic engaging piece and the contact portion can be stabilized.

Further, the cover has a peripheral wall portion (7b) extending from the cover body toward the support body side to a position covering the side of the support body, and the contact portion is provided on the peripheral wall section, The elastic engagement piece is formed to protrude in a direction away from the support body on a relatively high-strength base (12b) provided on the extending end side of the peripheral wall portion, and the base portion is the contact portion It is good to confront a part (6b) of the said support body on both sides.

According to this configuration, the base portion having a relatively high strength with respect to the elastic engagement piece is provided on the extending end side of the peripheral wall portion provided on the cover so as to extend to a position covering the side of the support body. Since the elastic engagement piece protrudes from the base and the base is opposed to the contact portion with a part of the support interposed therebetween, even if the elastic engagement piece is damaged due to any cause, Since the state where a part of the support body is sandwiched between the base part and the contact part is maintained, it is possible to prevent the support body and the cover from coming off, and the vibration suppressing effect is also maintained.

The abutting portion may abut a part of the support by a tapered surface (17a) inclined backward with respect to the direction in which the cover is attached to the support.

According to this configuration, the abutting portion tilts backward with respect to the assembling direction to the support and has a tapered surface that abuts a part of the support, so that the cover can be easily assembled to the support. In addition, the tapered surface increases the pressing force against a part of the support by the abutting portion, and it is possible to make the assembled state without further rattling.

Moreover, it is good for the said protrusion piece to be provided in the vicinity of the stay (21) for attaching the said support body to a to-be-attached part (2).

According to this configuration, since the support body is attached to the vehicle body as the attached portion via the stay, vibration during traveling is transmitted to the electric device case via the stay. However, since the protruding piece is provided in the vicinity of the stay, the vibration of the portion holding the protruding piece between the contact portion and the elastic engaging piece is relatively small, and the rattling is more effective. Can be suppressed.

Thus, according to the present invention, in the metal support and the synthetic resin cover that are assembled so as to approach each other, the elastic engagement piece provided in the cover is provided in the engagement recess provided in the protruding piece provided in the support. The support protrusion and the cover are assembled by inserting the engagement protrusion provided on the contact portion, and the contact portion that comes into contact with a part of the support portion from the other side facing the one side of the protruding piece with which the elastic engagement piece comes into contact. Since the contact portion is provided and the protruding piece is elastically sandwiched between the contact portion and the elastic engagement piece in the assembled state, rattling between the support and the cover can be prevented. . Moreover, since the contact portion and the elastic engagement piece are formed on the elastic member, they can be easily processed.

Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a main part showing an attachment state of an electric device case 1 to which the present invention is applied to a vehicle body 2. The electrical device case 1 is for attaching an ECU (Electric Control Unit) 3 for engine control, for example, to an appropriate position of the vehicle body 2, and is arranged in the vicinity of the damper housing 5 in the engine room 4 in the illustrated example. .

2A is a front view of the electrical device case 1 as viewed from the direction of the arrow IIa in FIG. 1, and FIG. 2B is a side view of the electrical device case 1 as viewed from the arrow IIb in FIG. . As shown in the drawing, the electrical device case 1 is formed in a rectangular box shape by a support 6 that supports the ECU 3 as an electrical device and a cover 7 that is assembled to the support 6 so as to cover the ECU 3. Yes. The support 6 is formed by pressing a thin metal plate material, and has a U-shaped bottom wall 6 a in a plan view so as to support the ECU 3 by bolting, and a bottom wall as a part of the support 6. And a flange 6b raised like a wall at the outer peripheral portion of 6a.

The cover 7 is formed of a molded product of a synthetic resin material, and extends from the outer periphery of the cover main body 7a toward the support body 6 toward the support body 6 so as to face the bottom wall portion 6a of the support body 6. And a peripheral wall portion 7b formed so as to reach a position covering the outer surface of the flange 6b that forms the side surface of the flange 6b.

A connector 3a of the ECU 3 is located in an open portion of the U-shaped support body 6 so that the connector 3a protrudes outward of the electric device case 1. A wire harness (not shown) is connected to the connector 3a while the electric device case 1 is attached to the vehicle body 2.

An assembly structure of the support 6 and the cover 7 configured as described above will be described below. In the following description, directions will be described according to the directions indicated by the arrows in each figure, not the state of being mounted on the vehicle body 2, except for the description related to FIG. 7.

As shown in FIGS. 3 to 5, the flange 6 b is provided with protruding pieces 11 protruding in a tongue-like shape from the upper edge of the flange 6 b at portions corresponding to the three sides of the U-shaped support 6. ing. A rectangular engagement hole 11 a is formed as an engagement recess in the center of the protruding piece 11. On the peripheral wall portion 7 b of the cover 7, a bulging portion 12 formed so as to bulge outward in a box shape at a position corresponding to the protruding piece 11 is provided. The bulging portion 12 is provided with a through hole 12a into which the protruding piece 11 is inserted.

The upper part of the bulging part 12 connects the parallel wall part 13 extending substantially parallel to the peripheral wall part 7b, the extending direction (left and right direction in FIG. 3) of the parallel wall part 13 and the peripheral wall part 7b. It is formed by both side wall portions 14. The peripheral wall portion 7b, the parallel wall portion 13, and the side wall portions 14 form a through hole 12a that penetrates the bulging portion 12 in the vertical direction.

A base portion 12b extending downward from the flange upper surface 6e of the flange 6b is formed in the lower portion in FIG. 3 that is the support 6 side of the bulging portion 12. The base portion 12b is coupled to the parallel wall portion 13 and both side wall portions 14 of the upper portion of the bulging portion 12, and is also coupled to the peripheral wall portion 7b, and is further outward than the parallel wall portion 13 and both side wall portions 14. It protrudes and is formed with higher strength than the upper portion of the bulging portion 12.

The parallel wall portion 13 is provided with a pair of slits 15 cut from the upper end in FIG. 3A toward the base portion 12b. An elastic engagement piece 16 that protrudes in the form of a long plate from the base portion 12b side is formed by an intermediate portion separated by the pair of slits 15 in the parallel wall portion 13. As shown in FIG. 4 (a), the elastic engagement piece 16 is formed with an engagement convex portion 16a that engages in the engagement hole 11a in the assembled state. Further, in the assembled state, the elastic engagement piece 16 comes into contact with the outer surface 11b which is the outer side in the drawing, which is one side of the protruding piece 11.

The support 6 and the cover 7 are assembled by inserting the protruding piece 11 into the through hole 12a of the bulging portion 12 as shown by the arrow in FIG. The engaging projection 16a has an inclined surface on the side facing the insertion direction of the protruding piece 11, and the engaging protruding portion 16a is guided by the protruding piece 11 as the protruding piece 11 is inserted. The combined piece 16 is elastically deformed so that the protruding end side is inclined outward. When the engaging convex portion 16a reaches the engaging hole 11a, the engaging convex portion 16a is fitted into the engaging hole 11a by the elastic restoring force of the elastic engaging piece 16 (FIG. 4A). The side opposite to the support 6 side of the engaging convex portion 16a is formed in a shape having a shoulder portion orthogonal to the protruding direction of the elastic engaging piece 16, and thereby the engaging convex portion 16a and the engaging hole 11a. Is engaged with the direction in which the cover 7 is detached from the support 6, and the state in which the cover 7 is assembled to the support 6 is maintained.

As shown in FIGS. 4 and 6, a slit 22 having a predetermined width that is cut upward from the lower end of the base portion 12 b is provided in a portion corresponding to the side wall portion 14 in the base portion 12 b. One of the opposing side surfaces of the slit 22 is formed in a connecting portion of the base portion 12b with the peripheral wall portion 7b, and the contact portion 17 has a shape protruding outward from the peripheral wall portion 7b so as to contact the flange 6b in the assembled state. Is provided.

The contact portion 17 is in contact with the inner side of the flange 6b (the inner side of the electric device case 1) in an engaged state between the engaging convex portion 16a and the engaging hole 11a (an assembled state of the support body 6 and the cover 7). A tapered surface 17a is provided. Thereby, the contact part 17 becomes a part of the support body 6 from the inner surface 11c side of the projecting piece 11 which is the other side facing the one side (outer surface 11b) of the projecting piece 11 by the elastic engagement piece 16. It contacts the inner wall surface 6c of the flange 6b (FIG. 4B).

The taper surface 17a is formed so as to project outward along the insertion direction of the protruding piece 11 into the through hole 12a. As shown in FIG. 6, in the engaged state of the engaging convex portion 16a and the engaging hole 11a, the protruding end outer end portion of the tapered surface 17a is positioned outward from the inner wall surface 6c of the flange 6b (see FIG. 6). In the figure, a distance a) and a tapered surface 17a are formed. Thereby, the contact part 17 comes to contact | abut with the pressing force of the direction expanded outward with respect to the flange 6b by the inclination of the taper surface 17a. A pair of abutting portions 17 are provided on the left and right sides of the elastic engagement piece 16, and are opposed to each other at positions on both sides of the elastic engagement piece 16 with respect to the urging direction by the elastic restoring force of the elastic engagement piece 16. Since the flange 6b is urged in the direction to move, the flange 6b can be stably and elastically held by the elastic engagement piece 16 and the pair of contact portions 17.

In the illustrated example, the engaging portions by the protruding pieces 11 and the elastic engaging pieces 16 are arranged at three places (three sides) that are three sides in the front view of the electric device case 1, as shown in FIG. As shown, the lock portions 18 a, 18 b, and 18 c configured by the set of the elastic engagement pieces 16 and the contact portions 17 are also arranged on three sides in the front view of the electric device case 1. These lock portions 18 a to 18 c prevent rattling between the support 6 and the cover 7 in the biaxial direction along the main surface (bottom surface) of the bottom wall 6 a of the support 6. In the illustrated example, lock portions 18 a to 18 c each having a structure in which the protruding piece 11 is sandwiched between the contact portion 17 and the elastic engagement piece 16 are arranged at three locations that are three sides of the electric device case 1. In order to prevent rattling against vibration in the direction along the support surface of the ECU 3 of the support 6 (the bottom surface of the bottom wall 6a), it is only necessary to prevent rattling in the biaxial direction. For example, the lock portions 18a and 18b may be provided as two places (two sides) that are two directions when viewed. As described above, even when vibrations in different directions occur, at least two sets of the elastic engagement pieces 16 and the contact portions 17 have different holding directions in which the protruding pieces 11 are held. The rattling between the support 6 and the cover 7 can be suppressed against vibration.

In this manner, the support body 6 and the cover 7 are secured in an assembled state by the engagement of the protruding piece 11 and the elastic engagement piece 16, and are biaxially along the bottom surface of the bottom wall portion 6 a of the support body 6. On the other hand, since the elastic engagement piece 16 and the contact portion 17 are fixed by being held between the flanges 6b, even if vibrations in different directions during traveling or the like are transmitted to the electrical device case 1, they are supported by the vibrations. It is possible to prevent rattling between the body 6 and the cover 7.

Moreover, the electric equipment case 1 is attached to the vehicle body 2 as an attached portion through two stays 21 extending from two places of the support 6 as shown in FIG. One end of the stay 21 may be spot welded to the support 6, and the other end of the stay 21 is bolted to the vehicle body 2. Thus, in the structure attached to the vehicle body 2 via the stay 21, the connecting portion of the two stays 21 to the support body 6 is arranged in two different directions as indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG. Lock portions 18a and 18b for preventing rattling are provided in the vicinity of the protruding pieces 11.

Since the vibration from the vehicle body 2 is transmitted through the stay 21, the vibration of the support 6 at a position away from the position where the stay 21 is coupled is increased. On the other hand, since the lock portions 18a and 18b are provided at positions serving as vibration transmission portions from the stay 21, vibrations of the lock portions 18a and 18b are small, and rattling can be more effectively suppressed.

As shown in FIG. 4B, the lower end of the base portion 12b extends downward by a predetermined length d with respect to the upper end of the flange 6b, and the lower end of the contact portion 17 is the same as the upper end of the flange 6b. It is located downward with a length d. Thereby, the contact part 17 and the opposing wall part 25 used as the part which opposes the contact part 17 through the slit 22 in the base 12b oppose on both sides of the flange 6b.

In this way, the slit 22 is formed by the contact portion 17 and the opposing wall portion 25, and the flange 6b is positioned in the slit 22. Therefore, for example, the elastic engagement piece 16 is damaged due to some reason. However, the assembled state between the support 6 and the cover 7 can be maintained. In the illustrated example, the width of the slit 22 is larger than the thickness of the flange 6b. However, by narrowing the width of the slit 22 as much as possible while securing the assembling property, A rattling suppression effect can be produced.

FIG. 7 is a view showing the back surface (inside) 7 d of the cover body 7 a in the cover 7. As shown in the drawing, a plurality of water-stopping ribs 23 are disposed at appropriate positions on the back surface 7d. The electrical device case 1 is attached to the vehicle body 2 so that the connector 3a does not face down. In the illustrated example, the electrical device case 1 can be attached with either the upper side or the left and right sides in FIG. 7 facing upward. In any of the three attachment states, the water stop rib 23 is divided at a plurality of appropriate locations in order to drain the water that has entered the cover 7 downward, and the drainage channel 24 is divided by the divided portions. Is formed.

The water that has entered the cover 7 from above in FIG. 7 is guided by the water stop ribs 23 and drained through the drainage channel 24 as indicated by the solid line arrows in the figure. In addition, according to the attachment direction of the electric equipment case 1, a drain hole (illustration omitted) is provided in the lower peripheral wall part 7b in the cover 7, and it drains outside from the drain hole. In addition, when the right side in the figure is attached, the water is drained as indicated by the dashed arrow in the figure, and when the left side in the figure is up, the water is drained as indicated by the two-dot chain line arrow in the figure. Is done. In addition, an arrow shows the direction roughly and does not show flowing as shown in the figure.
