上記課題を解決するため、本発明は、ケース上面に電気部品の収容部を有する電気接続箱に該電気部品を覆うように被せるカバーのガタつきを防止するものであって、
上記収容部のうちケース側壁側に位置する収容部の外面と対向する位置で、ケース側壁より上方に逆U字形状のU字壁を突出しており、
上記U字壁は、その上端の折返部から下方内側に突出した内壁部の下端を自由端とすることで、水平の内外方向に可撓性を有しており、
上記カバーは、その側壁を上記U字壁の内壁部と上記収容部の外面との間に圧接挟持させていることを特徴とする電気接続箱のカバーのガタつき防止構造を提供している。

本発明の実施形態を図面を参照して説明する。
本実施形態の電気接続箱はヒューズボックス10であり、ケース11の上面に多数のヒューズ収容部12を並設している。
ケース11の側面11aの所要位置には後述するカバー20をロックするための被ロック部13を一対設けていると共に、ボックス10を車体に固定するためのブラケット部14を一対突出している。

U字壁15は、図3および図5に示すように、ケース11の側面11aより上方に連続して外壁部15aを突出し、上端の折返部15bより下方内側に内壁部15cを突出し、該内壁部15cの下端は自由端としている。つまり、内壁部15cは折返部15bを起点として水平の内外方向に可撓性を有している。
また、折返部15bから内壁部15cにかけた部位には傾斜を有するテーパー部15dを設けている。
