Description
(1) 誘導カテーテルであって、
前記カテーテルの長さに沿って延在し、内側ルーメン及び外側ルーメンを画定する、細長形の壁構造を含み、前記内側ルーメンが、非円形の断面形状を有し、前記外側ルーメンが、曲線状幾何学図形の少なくとも一部分の断面形状を実質的に有する、誘導カテーテル。
(2) 前記内側ルーメンの前記非円形の断面形状が、2つの曲線区画によって各端部で接続される、2つの平行線区画によって画定される、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(3) 前記2つの曲線区画が、対称的な互いの鏡像である、実施態様2に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(4) 前記非円形の断面形状が、実質的に楕円形の少なくとも一部分である、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(5) 前記外側ルーメンの外壁が、その長さに沿って剛性が変化する、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(6) 前記壁構造の外壁内に配置される、細長形の長手方向バネ部材を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(7) 前記内側ルーメンと前記外側ルーメンとの間の前記壁構造が、前記カテーテルの周囲方向軸線と比較して、前記カテーテルの長手方向軸線に沿って、実質的に可撓性である、トルク誘導部分を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(8) 前記内側ルーメンの前記断面形状が、実質的に完全な楕円形である、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(9) 前記外側ルーメンが、円形の一部分の断面形状を実質的に有し、前記内側ルーメンの一方の側に配置される、実施態様8に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(10) 前記壁構造が、前記内側ルーメンの、もう一方の反対側に配置される、円形の一部分の断面形状を有する第2の外側ルーメンを、更に画定する、実施態様9に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(12) 前記ルーメンを画定する前記カテーテルの壁構造が、非円形の形状の断面を有する、遠位方向に連続する外側カテーテル表面へと、内側方向及び遠位方向で先細になる、実質的に円形の形状の断面を有する外側カテーテル表面を含む、実施態様11に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(13) 前記外側ルーメンを画定する壁構造が、前記内側ルーメンを越えて遠位方向に延在する、実施態様10に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(14) 前記壁構造の遠位部分が、区分化され、漸進的に柔順性である、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(15) 前記壁構造の外壁内に拘束される、浮動性のコイルを更に含む、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(16) 前記外側ルーメン内に、細長形の補剛材を更に含む、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(17) 前記細長形の補剛材が、その長さに沿って剛性が変化する、実施態様16に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(18) 前記細長形の補剛材が、その長さの少なくとも一部分に沿って先細になる、実施態様16に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(19) 前記細長形の補剛材の長さの前記一部分が、連続的に変化するテーパー角を有する、実施態様18に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(20) 前記細長形の補剛材の長さの前記一部分が、異なるテーパー角を有する、連接する先細区画を有する、実施態様18に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(22) 前記誘導カテーテルの前記細長形の壁構造の外側に沿って配置される金属ケージ、及び前記金属ケージを拡張/圧潰させる、前記外側ルーメン内部に収容される制御ワイヤを更に含む、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(23) 前記誘導カテーテルの前記壁構造の層又は区画が、材料の少なくとも1つの特性が変化するように活性化することができる前記材料を含む、実施態様1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(24) 前記壁構造の前記層又は前記区画が、前記外側ルーメン内への液体の注入に対応して変化することが可能である、実施態様23に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(25) 前記壁構造の前記層又は前記区画が、前記外側ルーメン内への電気加熱要素の挿入に対応して変化することが可能である、実施態様23に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(26) 誘導カテーテルであって、
前記カテーテルの長さに沿って延在し、内側ルーメン及び外側ルーメンを画定する細長形の壁構造であって、前記内側ルーメンが非円形の断面形状を有する、細長形の壁構造と、
前記外側ルーメン内の細長形の補剛材と、を含む、誘導カテーテル。
(27) 前記非円形の断面形状が、2つの曲線区画によって各端部で接続される、2つの平行線区画によって画定される、実施態様26に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(28) 前記補剛材が、その長さに沿って剛性が変化する、実施態様26に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(29) 誘導カテーテルであって、
前記カテーテルの長さに沿って延在し、内側ルーメン及び外側ルーメンを画定する、細長形の壁構造を含み、前記内側ルーメンが、非円形の断面形状を有し、前記壁構造が、前記長さの少なくとも一部分に沿って剛性が変化する、誘導カテーテル。
(30) 前記壁構造が、異なる材料の区画を含む、実施態様29に記載の誘導カテーテル。
(32) 誘導カテーテルであって、
前記カテーテルの長さに沿って延在し、内側ルーメン及び外側ルーメンを画定する、細長形の壁構造を含み、前記内側ルーメンが、非円形の断面形状を有し、
前記細長形の壁構造が、前記長さに沿って、円形の断面形状と非円形の断面形状との間で変化する断面形状を有する表面を有する、外壁を含む、誘導カテーテル。
(33) 前記壁構造の外壁内に配置される、細長形のバネ部材を更に含む、実施態様32に記載の誘導カテーテル。
Claims (10)
- 誘導カテーテルであって、
前記カテーテルの長さに沿って延在し、内側ルーメン及び外側ルーメンを画定する、細長形の壁構造を含み、前記内側ルーメンが、非円形の断面形状を有し、前記内側ルーメンと前記外側ルーメンとの間の前記壁構造が、前記壁構造の残部とは異なる材料で形成された、前記カテーテルの周囲方向軸線と比較して、前記カテーテルの長手方向軸線に沿って、実質的に可撓性である、トルク伝達誘導壁を更に含み、前記外側ルーメンが、曲線状幾何学図形の少なくとも一部分の断面形状を実質的に有する、誘導カテーテル。 - 前記内側ルーメンの前記非円形の断面形状が、2つの曲線区画によって各端部で接続される、2つの平行線区画によって画定される、請求項1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
- 前記2つの曲線区画が、対称的な互いの鏡像である、請求項2に記載の誘導カテーテル。
- 前記非円形の断面形状が、実質的に楕円形の少なくとも一部分である、請求項1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
- 前記外側ルーメンの外壁が、その長さに沿って剛性が変化する、請求項1に記載の誘導カテーテル。

- 前記外側ルーメンが、円形の一部分の断面形状を実質的に有し、前記内側ルーメンの一方の側に配置される、請求項7に記載の誘導カテーテル。
- 前記壁構造が、前記内側ルーメンの、もう一方の反対側に配置される、円形の一部分の断面形状を有する第2の外側ルーメンを、更に画定する、請求項8に記載の誘導カテーテル。
- 前記外側ルーメン内の細長形の補剛材を更に含む、請求項1に記載の誘導カテーテル。
