Claims (17)
- カテーテル本体と細長可撓性電極とを有するカテーテル用のルーメン拡張部材であって、

- 前記ルーメン拡張部材が、貫通して延在する複数の開口を有する側壁を含み、前記複数の開口が前記ルーメン拡張部材の長手方向長さに沿って延在する、請求項5又は6のいずれかに記載のカテーテル。
- 遠位部分を有するカテーテル本体と、
その内部を貫通して延在する電極ルーメンを画定する細長可撓性電極であって、前記カテーテル本体の前記遠位部分に連結される細長可撓性電極と、
前記カテーテル本体の前記遠位部分に連結され且つ前記細長可撓性電極内に位置決めされるチューブ状部材であって、側壁と、前記側壁を通じて延在する少なくとも1つの開口とを有するチューブ状部材を有するルーメン拡張部材と、
を備え、
前記ルーメン拡張部材は、前記細長可撓性電極の可撓性を損なわない長さを有しており、
前記ルーメン拡張部材が、第1の内径を有する近位部分と、前記第1の内径と異なる第2の内径を有する遠位部分と、を含む、アブレーションカテーテル。 - 前記カテーテル本体が、遠位端を有する内側チューブを含み、前記ルーメン拡張部材が、前記遠位端との連結及び前記遠位端との一体形成のうちの少なくとも一方が行われる近位端を有する、請求項8に記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体が、第1の内径を有する内側チューブを含み、前記ルーメン拡張部材が前記第1の内径と実質的に同様の第2の内径を有する、請求項8又は9に記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記細長電極が第1の長さを有し、且つ可撓特性を有するように構成され、及び前記ルーメン拡張部材が前記第1の長さより短い第2の長さを有し、且つ前記細長電極の前記可撓特性を低下させないように構成される、請求項8〜10のいずれかに記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記電極ルーメン内で前記ルーメン拡張部材の周りに位置決めされた付勢要素であって、前記電極ルーメンに構造的完全性をもたらす付勢要素をさらに含む、請求項8〜11のいずれかに記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記細長電極が、画定される複数のチャネルを含む側壁を含むアブレーションカテーテルであって、前記複数のチャネルの少なくとも1つを含む前記側壁の一部分に渡るように延在する膜をさらに含む、請求項8〜12のいずれかに記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記細長電極が、画定される複数のチャネルを含む側壁を含み、前記細長電極側壁が、撓曲しかつ前記チャネルの開放サイズが変動するように構成される、請求項8〜13のいずれかに記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記ルーメン拡張部材が、前記ルーメン拡張部材の長手方向長さに沿って延在する実質的に一様な幾何学的形状を有する、請求項8〜14のいずれかに記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記カテーテル本体、前記細長電極及び前記ルーメン拡張部材が、各々、生体適合性材料、非磁性材料、非導電性材料、及び非高周波反応性材料のうちの少なくとも1つにより作製される、請求項8〜15のいずれかに記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
- 前記ルーメン拡張部材が、貫通して延在する複数の開口を有する側壁を含み、前記複数の開口が前記ルーメン拡張部材の長手方向長さに沿って延在する、請求項8〜16のいずれかに記載のアブレーションカテーテル。
