Abstract
Description
すなわち、閉止状態にある前記フロート弁には、常に水圧が作用した状態である。
しかも沈降が進み深度が増加すると、これに伴って前記水圧も上昇する。
その反面、前記フロートの機械的な強度が十分に得られていない。
フロートが破損してしまうと、フロート弁による空気管の閉止が解かれ、この空気管を介して海水がタンク内に流れ込み、このタンク内の燃料等が船外に漏れ出てしまう。
ここで、前記リテーナーがセットスプリングによって前記上部と重畳する方向に付勢されていることにより、前記リテーナーが前記凹部と重畳するように移動させられ、これとともに、このリテーナーに形成されている前記係止溝の浅溝部も前記凹部に重畳する位置へ移動させられる。
この結果、前記係合部材を介して、前記リテーナーと前記作動軸が係合状態となされ、前記弁体が離座位置に保持されるとともに、前記空気管による前記タンクと外気との連通が確保される。
この負圧は、前記ダイアフラムに、前記リテーナーを前記連結プレートに押しつける方向の力として作用し、前記リテーナーの不要な動きを防止して前記水圧検知機構の誤作動を防止する。
これらの図において、符号1は、本実施形態に係わる自動閉止装置を示し、この自動閉止装置1は、たとえば、図1に示すように、船舶Sに設けられ、船内のタンクT内を外気へ連通させるための空気管Vの上端部で、前記船舶S最上部の甲板から突出させられた位置に取り付けられている。
この閉止スプリング5の他端は、図3および図4に示すように、前記弁箱2の外部に突設された支柱21に掛け止めされて、常時引っ張り状態に保持されている。
この負圧は、前記ダイアフラム12に、前記リテーナー7を前記連結プレート8に押しつける方向の力として作用することから、前記リテーナー7の不要な動きを防止して前記水圧検知機構Pの誤作動を防止する。

Claims (2)
- 船舶に設置された空気管の管頭近傍に設けられ、船舶の沈没時に生じる水圧を検知して前記空気管を閉止するようにした船舶用空気管の自動閉止装置であって、
前記空気管の流路の一部を構成するとともに、前記流路と交差する弁座が形成された弁箱と、この弁箱に回動可能に装着された作動軸と、この作動軸に一体に取り付けられて、前記弁座との着離座により前記流路の開閉をなす弁体と、前記作動軸と前記弁箱との間に架設され、前記弁体を着座位置へ向けて付勢する閉止スプリングと、この閉止スプリングの付勢力に抗し、前記作動軸を、前記弁体を離座させた状態に係止する係止機構と、前記水圧が設定値を超えた際に、前記係止機構における前記作動軸の係止を解除する水圧検知機構と、を備え、
前記作動軸が前記弁箱の側部に突出させられ、その突出部の側面に凹部が形成され、
前記係止機構が、前記作動軸を取り囲んで設けられるとともに、この作動軸の軸線方向に移動可能にかつ軸線回りの回動が拘束され、内面に、前記作動軸の軸線に沿った係止溝が形成されたリテーナーと、前記係止溝内に遊嵌され、かつ、前記凹部へ係合可能な係合部材と、前記リテーナーを、前記係合部材とともに前記凹部と重畳する位置へ向けて押圧するセットスプリングとによって構成され、
前記係止溝には、前記リテーナーが前記凹部と重畳する位置に移動させられた際に前記係合部材を前記凹部内に押し込む浅溝部と、前記凹部から離間する位置に移動させられた際に、前記係合部材の前記凹部からの離脱を可能とする深溝部が形成されていることを特徴とする船舶用空気管の自動閉止装置。
- 前記水圧検知機構が、前記弁箱の外部に、前記作動軸の突出部および前記リテーナーを包み込んで装着される有底筒状のケーシングと、このケーシングと前記リテーナーとを連結して、前記ケーシングの底部側に気密室を形成する可撓性を有するダイアフラムとを備え、
前記ケーシングが、その開口部において前記弁箱との間に隙間を形成するように取り付けられて水の浸入経路を形成するようになされ、かつ、前記気密室を形成する前記ケーシングの底部と前記リテーナーとの間に前記セットスプリングが介装されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の船舶用空気管の自動閉止装置。
