マーセル化パルプを主体とした天然繊維とポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維からなる化学繊維とを含む第1の抄紙原料と、マーセル化していないパルプを主体とした天然繊維とポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維からなる化学繊維とを含む第2の抄紙原料と、を準備し、
ここで、上記第1の抄紙原料における化学繊維の配合比は上記第2の抄紙原料における化学繊維の配合比よりも高く、かつ、
上記第1の抄紙原料における化学繊維の太さが上記第2の抄紙原料における化学繊維の太さよりも太く、
これら2つの抄紙原料を用いて、坪量が60〜250g/m2 の範囲で、主に第1の抄紙原料からなる上層から主に第2の抄紙原料からなる下層へと層間で両者の配合割合が連続的に変化するように抄紙を行う。
Claims (5)
- ダスト粒子とカーボン粒子との双方を捕捉対象とする内燃機関のエアクリーナ用の濾材の製造方法であって、
マーセル化パルプを主体とした天然繊維とポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維からなる化学繊維とを含む第1の抄紙原料と、マーセル化していないパルプを主体とした天然繊維とポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維からなる化学繊維とを含む第2の抄紙原料と、を準備し、
ここで、上記第1の抄紙原料における化学繊維の配合比は上記第2の抄紙原料における化学繊維の配合比よりも高く、かつ、
上記第1の抄紙原料における化学繊維の太さが上記第2の抄紙原料における化学繊維の太さよりも太く、
これら2つの抄紙原料を用いて、坪量が60〜250g/m2 の範囲で、主に第1の抄紙原料からなる上層から主に第2の抄紙原料からなる下層へと層間で両者の配合割合が連続的に変化するように抄紙を行う、エアクリーナ用の濾材の製造方法。 - 上記第1の抄紙原料と上記第2の抄紙原料とが、坪量比で、2:8〜6:4の割合で用いられる請求項1に記載のエアクリーナ用の濾材の製造方法。
- 厚みが0.4〜1.5mmの範囲にあるように抄紙することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のエアクリーナ用の濾材の製造方法。
- 密度が0.1〜0.5g/cm3の範囲にあるように抄紙することを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のエアクリーナ用の濾材の製造方法。
- 上記第1の抄紙原料における化学繊維の配合比は、10〜80%であり、その繊維の太さは、10〜30μmであり、
上記第2の抄紙原料における化学繊維の配合比は、60%以下であり、その繊維の太さは、3〜20μmである、ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載のエアクリーナ用の濾材の製造方法。
