Claims (16)
- 複数の健康イベントを考慮するボーラス推奨を決定する、コンピュータにより実行される方法であって、
携帯糖尿病管理装置のコンピュータプロセッサにより実行されるボーラス計算機により、インスリン推奨要求に関連する1つまたは2つ以上の健康イベントについての表示を受け取ること、
前記ボーラス計算機により、患者用のインスリン推奨要求を受け取ること、
前記ボーラス計算機により、いくつの健康イベントがインスリン推奨要求に関連するかを決定すること、
前記ボーラス計算機により、2つまたは3つ以上の健康イベントが前記インスリン推奨要求に関連するとの決定に応じて、前記インスリン推奨要求に関連する前記2つまたは3つ以上の健康イベントについての入力をユーザに入力要求することであって、前記入力は、患者のインスリンへの前記2つまたは3つ以上の健康イベントの累積効果を示し、
前記ボーラス計算機により、前記入力要求することに応じた前記ユーザからの入力値を受け取ること、
前記ボーラス計算機により、前記入力値を用いて、前記患者のためのインスリン推奨を算出すること、および
前記ボーラス計算機により、ただ1つの健康イベントが前記インスリン推奨要求に関連するとの決定に応じて、前記入力を前記ユーザに入力要求することなく、前記1つの健康イベントについての前記ユーザにより予め設定された調整値を用いて患者用のインスリン推奨を計算すること
を含む方法。 - 前記入力を入力要求することがさらに、健康調整グラフィカルユーザインターフェース(GUI)を携帯糖尿病管理装置のディスプレイに示すことを含み、前記健康調整GUIが、前記インスリン推奨要求に関連する健康イベントのそれぞれについて異なるアイコンを有する請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記入力値および前記調整値がさらに、それぞれパーセンテージとして規定され、前記インスリン推奨の値が、前記パーセンテージに応じて調整される請求項1記載の方法。

患者からの血糖測定を受け取ること、
前記血糖測定の受け取りに応じてカウントダウンタイマーを開始すること、
前記カウントダウンタイマーの間、前記ボーラス計算機のインスリン推奨機能を有効にすること、および

- 前記インスリン推奨を、前記携帯糖尿病管理装置のディスプレイのグラフィカルユーザインターフェース(GUI)に示すことをさらに含み、前記インスリン推奨が、補正量、食事量およびインスリンの総量を含み、前記補正量は、患者の血糖レベルをターゲット値まで低下させることを意図し、前記食事量は、前記患者により消費された炭水化物を補償することを意図し、前記総量は、前記補正量および前記食事量の合計に等しい請求項1記載の方法。
