Claims (4)
- 超高分子量ポリエチレンとビタミンEを含有する成形品に放射線を照射して超高分子量ポリエチレンを架橋させてから、該成形品をラジカル捕捉剤溶液に浸漬してラジカル捕捉剤を成形品中に拡散させて、前記放射線の照射によって形成されたビタミンEラジカルを捕捉するに際し、前記ラジカル捕捉剤がL−アスコルビン酸の水酸基の少なくとも1つを炭素数が6〜30の脂肪酸でエステル化したものであり、かつ前記ラジカル捕捉剤溶液を10〜500MPaに加圧してラジカル捕捉剤を成形品中に拡散させることを特徴とする成形品の製造方法。
- 超高分子量ポリエチレンの粉体とビタミンEを混合してから加熱圧縮して得られた成形品に放射線を照射する請求項1記載の成形品の製造方法。
- 照射する放射線が電子線である請求項1又は2に記載の成形品の製造方法。
- 前記成形品が医療用インプラントである請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の成形品の製造方法。
