Claims (13)
- 電池セルのそれぞれが、それの上端および下端にそれぞれ形成された電極端子を有する、複数の板状電池セルを有する電池モジュールにおいて、前記電池モジュールは、
2つ以上の電池セルと、
前記電池セルの動きを抑え、前記電池セルの充放電中の前記電池セルの体積変化を和らげるために前記電池セル間の界面に配置される緩衝部材と、
前記電池セルの前記電極端子を除いて前記電池セルのスタックの外側を完全に覆うように結合される一対のモジュール筐体であって、前記モジュール筐体のそれぞれがシートで形成される、一対のモジュール筐体と、
を含み、前記モジュール筐体のそれぞれには、前記電池セルを固定するために所定サイズの押し下げられた段がそれの上端および下端に隣接する側部に設けられ、
前記モジュール筐体のそれぞれは、クーラントの流れのスペースを提供するためにそれの外側に互いに間隔のあいた複数の線状ビードを幅方向(横方向)に提供され、かつ
前記モジュール筐体のそれぞれは、それの前記外側の上部および下部に反対形状を有するバーを前記幅方向(横方向)に提供されることを特徴とする電池モジュール。 - 前記板状電池セルのそれぞれは、電極アセンブリが、金属層および樹脂層を含む積層シートで形成された電池ケースに取り付けられ、前記電池ケースの外縁部が、密封される構造を有するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記緩衝部材は、多孔質構造を有するポリマー樹脂で形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記緩衝部材は、開放細孔または閉鎖細孔を含む多孔質構造を有するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュール筐体のそれぞれは、前記電池セルのスタックの前記外側の形状に対応する内部構造を有し、前記モジュール筐体は、アセンブリ締結方式で互いに結合されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュール筐体の断面結合部分は、雄雌締結構造体を有するように構成され、それによって前記モジュール筐体が、互いに面するように互いに接触している状態で押し付けられるとき、前記モジュール筐体は、弾性結合によって互いに係合されることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記モジュール筐体のそれぞれは、金属シートで形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記押し下げられた段のそれぞれは、前記電池セルのそれぞれの密封部分に対応する形状およびサイズを有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記線状ビードのそれぞれは、前記モジュール筐体の対応する端部に達する対向端部を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 単位体として請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の電池モジュールを含む電池パックであって、前記電池モジュールは、2つ以上単位の電池モジュールを含むことを特徴とする電池パック。
- 前記2つ以上単位の電池モジュールのスタックは、前記電池モジュールのスタックを横方向に立てた状態でパックフレームに取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の電池パック。
- 電力源として請求項10に記載の電池パックを含むことを特徴とする車両。
- 前記車両は、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、またはプラグインハイブリッド電気自動車であることを特徴とする請求項12に記載の車両。
