Claims (10)
- マザーガラスの表面に圧縮応力を形成して強化した強化ガラスをカッティングする強化ガラスのカッティング方法であって、
強化ガラスの切断したい切断部を凹状に撓ませて前記切断部内部の引張応力を緩和する引張応力緩和ステップと、
前記切断部にメディアン・クラック(median crack)を形成するカッティングステップと
を含むことを特徴とする強化ガラスのカッティング方法。 - 前記引張応力緩和ステップは、前記切断部において前記メディアン・クラックを形成する領域の引張応力を20MPa以下に緩和することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 前記メディアン・クラックは、前記強化ガラスの表面から強化ガラスの厚さの20%以下の深さまで形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 前記強化ガラスの強化深さDOLは25μm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 前記強化ガラスの表面圧縮応力(compressive stress)は600MPa以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 前記メディアン・クラックは、ホイールスクライビング(wheel scribing)によって形成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 前記カッティングステップは、前記メディアン・クラックの形成後、前記メディアン・クラックを拡張して強化ガラスをブレイキング(breaking)することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 前記強化ガラスは、前記マザーガラスを化学強化してなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 前記強化ガラスの厚さは、0.5〜0.7mmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の強化ガラスのカッティング方法。
- 強化ガラスのカッティングのために強化ガラスを載置する強化ガラスのカッティング用ステージであって、
強化ガラスが載置され、凹状の形状を有する支持面と、
前記支持面に形成され、載置された強化ガラスを真空引きして保持する真空ホールと
を含むことを特徴とする強化ガラスのカッティング用ステージ。
