Claims (2)
- 鋼製パイプのシャフト本体に焼結材のカムピースを組み付けて形成されるカムシャフトを、加熱処理装置により焼結温度まで加熱する加熱処理工程と、
加熱処理されたカムシャフトを冷却処理装置により冷却する冷却処理工程とを備えた内燃機関用カムシャフトの製造方法において、
当該冷却処理工程では、冷却処理装置内の周囲に設けられた黒鉛板で全てを包囲された状態にカムシャフトを配置した後に、徐冷を行う第1段階冷却処理工程と、
当該冷却処理装置内に注入した冷却ガスをファンにより循環させて急冷を行う第2段階冷却処理工程との2段階の工程で冷却するようにし、
前記加熱処理工程では、焼結を行うに際し焼結温度が900℃〜1200℃として制御した温度で加熱し、
前記第1段階冷却処理工程では、700℃〜900℃の間を冷却速度10℃/分〜30℃/分の速さで冷却し、
前記第2段階冷却処理工程では、前記第1段階冷却処理工程終了後の温度から以下の温度領域を冷却速度30℃/分〜300℃/分の速さで冷却し、
かつ、前記冷却処理工程は、前記冷却処理装置の内部を加圧させた状態で行われることを特徴とする内燃機関用カムシャフトの製造方法。 - 前記冷却処理工程では、前記内燃機関用カムシャフトを複数段に段積みされた載置用治具に複数積載した状態で冷却処理を行う請求項1に記載の内燃機関用カムシャフトの製造方法。
