Claims (2)
- 互いに接続せんとする鉄筋を、端部が対向するよう同軸芯状に配置した状態で、両鉄筋の互いに対向する端部を加熱する加熱工程と、
端部が加熱された両鉄筋の端面を突き合わせ、両鉄筋に軸方向の圧力を加えることで突き合わせた端面を圧接させる圧接工程とを行う鉄筋の圧接方法において、
前記加熱工程前に一方鉄筋に筒状の外径規制金具を外嵌し、前記両鉄筋の互いに対向させた端部を加熱して軟化させる加熱工程後に、加熱部分の外側に筒状の外径規制金具を外嵌状に位置させ、
この状態で両鉄筋に軸方向の圧力を加えることで端面を圧接させる圧接工程を行い、
前記圧接工程によって圧接部分に生じるふくらみの外径を外径規制金具の内径によって規制して、圧接せんとする鉄筋の直径に対して1.2〜1.4倍に形成し、前記圧接工程の終了後に、圧接部分から外径規制金具を撤去することを特徴とする鉄筋の圧接方法。 - 上記外径規制金具が軸方向に沿って二つ割り可能な構造となり、上記圧接工程の終了後に開くことで圧接部分から撤去することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の鉄筋の圧接方法。
