Description
− 骨稜部がより漸進的な態様で拡幅されることにより、従来の手法を用いたものよりも幅広の骨稜部を得ることができる(これは、本発明による方法は、好ましくは小径のインプラント拡張具を用いて実施されることによる)。これにより、骨稜部の壁部を破損するリスクが低下し、また血管新生も向上する。
− 最終的な歯科インプラントをより多様な方向に位置決めすることができる。これは、最終的な歯科インプラント及びこれに対応する義歯が位置決めされることになる方向に、歯槽窩の軸性を向けるために、本発明による方法が、歯槽窩の軸性を補正及び変更することが可能であるという事実に起因する。本方法により、骨稜部のより大きな拡幅と、より高質の骨(血管新生が生じた骨)とがもたらされるので、軸性の補正が可能となる。
Claims (8)
- 最終的な歯科インプラント(4)の挿入を受け入れることを目的として患者の骨稜部(1)を拡張するためのインプラント拡張具(3)において、前記インプラント拡張具(3)は、生体適合性及び骨伝導性の材料から製造されており、前記インプラント拡張具(3)は、ねじ山付き本体部(5)、冠領域(6)、及び先端部(7)を備えており、前記冠領域(6)が、前記ねじ山付き本体部(5)の外径と連続的な外径を有し、前記冠領域(6)が、前記ねじ山付き本体部(5)よりも幅広ではなく、前記冠領域(6)が、トルク印加器具を挿入するための回転防止止まり穴(8)をさらに備えており、前記冠領域(6)が、部分的にねじ山を有する外側壁部を有し、前記冠領域(6)の前記外側壁部は、前記ねじ山付き本体部(5)のねじ山のねじ特徴と整合するまで漸増的に深くなるねじ山特徴を有することを特徴とするインプラント拡張具(3)。
- チタンから製造されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のインプラント拡張具(3)。
- グレード5チタン(Ti6Al4V)から製造されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のインプラント拡張具(3)。
- 前記ねじ山付き本体部(5)は、前記冠領域(6)のより近傍の円筒状ねじ山付き部分(5a)と、前記先端部(7)のより近傍の小径のねじ山付き部分(5b)とを備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のインプラント拡張具(3)。
- 小径の前記ねじ山付き部分(5b)は、円錐状であることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のインプラント拡張具(3)。
- 小径の前記ねじ山付き部分(5b)は、湾曲状側部を有することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のインプラント拡張具(3)。
- 前記先端部(7)は、ねじ山を有することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のインプラント拡張具(3)。
- 前記円筒状ねじ山付き部分(5a)は、2〜3.5mmの間の直径を有することを特徴とする、請求項4に記載のインプラント拡張具(3)。
