Claims (1)
- 冷媒を流入させる入口ポートと、
前記冷媒を流出させる出口ポートと、
前記入口ポートと前記出口ポートとの間に設けられる弁室と、
前記弁室内に配置され、前記入口ポートから前記弁室内に流入した冷媒を膨張させて前記出口ポートへと流出させる冷媒流路が形成された弁座と、
前記弁室内で前記冷媒流路を閉塞可能な弁体が先端に設けられ、進退移動することで前記弁体によって前記冷媒流路を開閉可能なプランジャと、
前記プランジャを摺動可能に収容するケースとを備える膨張弁であって、
前記弁体は、前記プランジャが前進位置にある場合に、前記入口ポート側の冷媒と前記出口ポート側の冷媒との間の圧力差によって弾性的に変形し、前記弁座に着地して前記冷媒流路を閉塞する一方、前記プランジャが後退位置にある場合に、前記弁座から離間して前記冷媒流路を開放するものであり、
前記プランジャの先端面には、該プランジャの外側面へと連通する凹部が設けられ、
前記弁体は、前記凹部を覆うように平面状に設けられた板状の弾性体であり、該板状の弾性体の表面と裏面との間に前記圧力差が作用することを特徴とする膨張弁。
