Claims (9)
- 上部(21)と、下部(22)とを有し、船舶の船体(10)において前記上部(21)から回転可能に支持されたケーシング(20)と、
前記ケーシング(20)の前記下部(22)内に油潤滑されたころ軸受けであるラジアル及びアキシャル軸受(32、33)によって回転可能に支持され、軸方向中心線(X)と、前記ケーシング(20)の前記下部(22)の第1の端部(22A)から突出する外端部(31A)とを有するシャフト(31)であって、その前記外端部(31A)は、水が前記ケーシング(20)内にしみ込むのを防ぐために、前記ケーシング(20)の前記下部(22)の前記第1の端部(22A)に対してシーリング(34)で密閉されているシャフト(31)と、
前記ケーシング(20)の前記下部(22)の前記第1の端部(22A)の外側で前記シャフト(31)の前記外端部(31A)に取り付けられ、前記シャフト(31)と共に回転するプロペラ(37)と、
前記ケーシング(20)で固定支持された環状ハウジング(40)であって、前記シャフト(31)の前記軸方向中心線(X)はまた、環状ハウジング(40)の軸方向中心線を形成し、前記プロペラ(37)の外周を囲み、環状ハウジング(40)の内部を通って流れる水用のダクト(45)を形成する環状ハウジング(40)とを備えた推進ユニットであって、
回転子リム(51)と、固定子(52)とを有するリム駆動電気モータ(50)をさらに備え、前記回転子リム(51)は、前記プロペラ(37)の外周上に設けられ、前記プロペラ(37)と共に回転し、前記固定子(52)は、前記環状ハウジング(40)内に設けられ、前記回転子リム(51)を囲んで
いることを特徴とする推進ユニット。 - 前記回転子リム(51)の軸(X)方向中間点を通る第1の径方向平面(Y1)は、前記ケーシング(20)の前記下部(22)の前記第1の端部(22A)の外側に置かれていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の推進ユニット。
- 前記回転子(51)の前記軸(X)方向中間点を通る前記第1の径方向平面(Y1)と、前記軸受(32、33)の間の軸方向中間点を通る第2の径方向平面(Y2)とが、互いから、軸(X)方向距離(A1)にあることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の推進ユニット。
- 前記環状ハウジング(40)の内側表面は環状溝(46)を備え、前記回転子リム(51)は前記環状溝(46)内を回転することを特徴とする、請求項1から3までのいずれか一項に記載の推進ユニット。
- 前記溝(46)内の、前記回転子リム(51)と前記ハウジング(40)との間に通路(P1)があり、水が、前記回転子(51)及び固定子(52)を冷却するために、前記通路(P1)を通ることができることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の推進ユニット。
- 前記環状ハウジング(40)の前記内部を通る前記ダクト(45)が、円筒形であることを特徴とする、請求項1から5までのいずれか一項に記載の推進ユニット。
- 少なくとも前記ケーシング(20)の前記下部(22)の前記第1の端部(22A)が、前記環状ハウジング(40)内に置かれていることを特徴とする、請求項1から6までのいずれか一項に記載の推進ユニット。
- 前記回転子(51)は、永久磁石回転子であることを特徴とする、請求項1から7までのいずれか一項に記載の推進ユニット。
- 前記固定子(52)の冷却は、前記ハウジング(40)の前記外殻を直接通した、前記ハウジング(40)の外殻を囲む海水への受動冷却としてなされることを特徴とする、請求項1から8までのいずれか一項に記載の推進ユニット。
