Description

Claims (20)
- (a)光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部をレーザ光線で照射し、それによって該光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部に複数の細長い溝を形成する工程、および
(b)少なくとも該光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部および該複数の細長い溝の上に、透明フィルムを形成する工程
を含む、マークを有する光学エレメントの製造方法であって、
各細長い溝が直線状の細長い溝であり、
各細長い溝は、長手方向軸を有し、
各細長い溝は、隣接する細長い溝に平行であり、
各細長い溝の長手方向軸は、該複数の細長い溝の中心点から延びる共通の長手方向と平行に整列され、
該複数の細長い溝が共にマークを規定し、
該共通の長手方向と平行であり該中心点を通る第1整列線上の第1の位置で該光学エレメントを通して電磁エネルギー源が見える場合に、該マークが観察不可能であり、
該共通の長手方向と直交し該中心点を通る第2整列線上の第2の位置で該光学エレメントを通して電磁エネルギー源が見える場合に、該マークが観察可能であり、
該光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部が第1屈折率を有し、かつ該透明フィルムが第2屈折率を有し、該第1屈折率および該第2屈折率の差が0.01〜1.2の絶対値を有する、マークを有する光学エレメントの製造方法。 - 前記レーザ光線が、100〜400nmの波長を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各細長い溝が、独立して、0.1〜2μmの深さおよび10〜60μmの幅を有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各一対の細長い溝間の分離距離が、独立して2〜180μmである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各細長い溝が、第1末端および第2末端を有し、少なくとも1つの細長い溝に対して、該第1末端および第2末端が各々独立して、円弧状の壁によって規定される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の細長い溝が、2以上の交差する細長い溝を含まない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 各細長い溝が、それ自体と交差しない、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記複数の細長い溝が共通平面内に存在する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記電磁エネルギー源が可視光源である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部が、前記光学エレメントの前面、前記光学エレメントの側面および前記光学エレメントの裏面の少なくとも1つから選択される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光学エレメントが外面を有する光学基材を含み、該光学基材の外面が、その中に前記複数の細長い溝が形成される前記光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部を規定する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記光学エレメントが、外面を有する光学基材および該光学エレメントの外面の少なくとも一部の上に外面を有する第1フィルムを含み、該第1フィルムの該外面が、その中に前記複数の細長い溝が形成される前記光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部を規定する、請求項1に記載の方法。

- 前記光学エレメントがディスプレイエレメントから選択され、該ディスプレイエレメントがスクリーン、モニター、およびセキュリティエレメントから選択される、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記透明フィルムが、単層透明フィルムおよび多層透明フィルムから選択され、該透明フィルムの少なくとも1つの層がスタティック染料、フォトクロミック化合物、フォトクロミック‐二色性化合物の少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- (a)光学エレメントの表面に存在するマークであって、該光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部が複数の細長い溝を含むマーク、および
(b)少なくとも該光学エレメントの表面の少なくとも一部および該複数の細長い溝の上に存在する透明フィルム
を含む、光学エレメントであって、
