Claims (8)
- 薄板ガラスに対して、厚み方向に貫通する孔部を形成する孔空け加工と、該孔部の面取り加工とを、行う薄板ガラス加工工具であって、
工具本体の先端部に設けられて専ら前記孔空け加工に用いられる、複数の砥粒がメタルボンドにより相互に結合されたチップ状のメタルボンド砥石部と、
専ら前記面取り加工に用いられる、前記工具本体の側周部に形成されたくびれ部に複数の砥粒が電着された電着砥石部と
を、備え、
前記メタルボンド砥石部は、前記工具本体の先端部にろう材により固着されたものであり、該ろう材は、主成分としてAg、Cu、Sn、及びNiのうち少なくとも1種類を含み、且つ、活性金属としてTi、Cr、及びZrのうち少なくとも1種類を含むものであり、
前記メタルボンド砥石部は、前記工具本体の先端部に対して前記ろう材により固着される平面部におけるCの含有量が他の部分よりも多い構成とされたものである
ことを特徴とする薄板ガラス加工工具。 - 前記メタルボンド砥石部は、前記工具本体の先端部に対して前記ろう材により固着される平面部に、前記複数の砥粒が規則的に配設されたものである請求項1に記載の薄板ガラス加工工具。
- 前記メタルボンド砥石部は、W、Co、Ni、Fe、Ag、Cu、及びSnのうち少なくとも1種類を含む前記メタルボンドと、ダイヤモンド及びCBNのうち少なくとも1種類を含む前記砥粒とを、含むものである請求項1又は2に記載の薄板ガラス加工工具。
- 前記メタルボンド砥石部は、フィラとしてGC、グラファイト、MoS2、及びCeO2のうち少なくとも1種類を含むものである請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の薄板ガラス加工工具。
- 前記工具本体は、炭素鋼、モリブデン鋼、又はステンレスである請求項1から4の何れか1項に記載の薄板ガラス加工工具。
- 請求項1から5の何れか1項に記載の薄板ガラス加工工具の製造方法であって、前記工具本体の側周部に前記くびれ部を形成するくびれ部形成工程と、
該くびれ部形成工程において前記くびれ部が形成された前記工具本体の先端部に、前記メタルボンド砥石部をろう付するメタルボンド砥石部ろう付工程と、
該メタルボンド砥石部ろう付工程において前記メタルボンド砥石部が先端部にろう付された前記工具本体における前記くびれ部に、複数の砥粒を電着して前記電着砥石部を形成する電着砥石部形成工程と
を、含むことを特徴とする薄板ガラス加工工具の製造方法。 - W、Co、Ni、Fe、Ag、Cu、及びSnのうち少なくとも1種類を含む前記メタルボンドと、ダイヤモンド及びCBNのうち少なくとも1種類を含む前記砥粒とを、加圧焼結することで前記メタルボンド砥石部を形成するメタルボンド砥石部形成工程を含むものである請求項6に記載の薄板ガラス加工工具の製造方法。
- 前記メタルボンド砥石部ろう付工程は、不活性ガス雰囲気中において規定温度の熱処理を施すことで前記工具本体の先端部に前記メタルボンド砥石部をろう付するものである請求項6又は7に記載の薄板ガラス加工工具の製造方法。
