Claims (15)
- 誘電性部材を有する飛行機を含むエアロゾル検出装置であって、前記誘電性部材の表面が前記飛行機の外側表面の一部を形成するように、前記誘電性部材が前記飛行機の本体に含まれ、検出手段が前記飛行機の内部に配置され、当該検出手段は前記飛行機の中の電界を検出するために設けられ、当該電界は、前記誘電性部材が分極化して、それにより前記飛行機の外側表面の一部を形成する側とは反対側の前記誘導性部材の表面に誘導電荷が生じる結果、発生するものである、エアロゾル検出装置。
- 請求項1に記載の装置であって、前記誘電性部材は、前記飛行機の窓である、装置。
- 請求項1又は請求項2に記載の装置であって、前記検出手段は、前記飛行機の中に搭載された静電気モニターである、装置。
- 請求項3に記載の装置であって、前記静電気モニターは静電電圧計である、装置。
- 請求項4に記載の装置であって、前記静電電圧計は電気機械回転集電器である、装置。
- 請求項3から5のいずれかに記載の装置であって、前記静電気モニターの出力をモニターリングし、当該出力があらかじめ定められた閾値を超えたら発生させる警報を発するための警報手段をさらに備える、装置。
- 請求項6に記載の装置であって、前記警報が視覚的および/または聴覚的に、1人以上の飛行機乗務員に、注意を促す警報であり、さらに/もしくは、前記警報が、前記飛行機の制御システムに、該飛行機を大気圏の一定領域外に移動させる制御信号である、装置。
- 請求項3から7のいずれかに記載の装置であって、前記飛行機の位置に応じて、前記静電気モニターの出力又は当該静電気モニターの出力の変化率を記録するためのデータ収集システムをさらに備える、装置。
- 請求項8に記載の装置であって、当該装置は、前記飛行機の位置情報を前記データ収集システムへと出力するための全地球測位システム(GPS)をさらに備える、装置。
- 請求項8又は請求項9に記載の装置であって、処理手段をさらに備え、当該処理手段は、前記静電気モニターの出力、又は出力の変化率に応じて、エアロゾルの粒子密度のための想定された関数形式に基づいて、前記静電気モニターの出力の記録値、又は前記静電気モニターの出力の変化率の記録値を、エアロゾルの粒子密度の値へと変換するために設けられるものである、装置。
- 請求項3から7のいずれかに記載の装置であって、処理手段をさらに備え、当該処理手段は、前記静電気モニターの出力、又は前記静電気モニター出力の変化率に応じて、エアロゾルの粒子密度のための想定された関数形式に基づいて、前記静電気モニターの出力又は当該静電気モニターの出力の変化率を、エアロゾルの粒子密度の値へと変換するために設けられるものである、装置。
- 請求項11に記載の装置であって、データ収集システムをさらに備え、当該データ収集システムは、前記飛行機の位置に応じて変換手段から出力されるエアロゾルの粒子密度の値を記録するために設けられるものである、装置。
- 請求項12に記載の装置であって、前記飛行機の位置情報を前記データ収集システムへと出力するための全地球測位システムをさらに備える、装置。
- エアロゾルの中の粒子を検出するための方法であって、請求項1から請求項13のいずれかに記載の装置を、粒子を含む大気中の領域を通過させる過程を含む、方法。
- 前記請求項14に記載の方法であって、前記大気中の領域が、塵もしくは灰粒子を含む、方法。
