抑制剤、例えば、
− N−ニトロソジフェニルアミン、N−シクロヘキシルチオフタルイミド(CPT)、例えば、Vulkalent(登録商標)G、スルホンアミド誘導体(例えば、Vulkalent(登録商標)E/C)、無水フタル酸(Vulkalent(登録商標)B/C)(Vulkalent(登録商標)製品は両方共Lanxess Deutshland GmbHより入手可能)および無水安息香酸。
2.5〜90重量%のゴム、
0〜50重量%の可塑剤、
0〜97.5重量%のフィラー、
0〜80重量%の架橋剤、
0〜20重量%の分散剤、
0〜80重量%の活性剤、および
0〜50重量%の酸化防止剤
を含む。
100phrのゴム、
0〜100phrの可塑剤、
0〜500phrのフィラー、
0〜30phrの助剤、および
0〜10phrの酸化防止剤
を含む。
100phrのSMR10天然ゴム、50phrのN550カーボンブラック、5phrのNaftolenZD可塑剤、5phrのZnO、1phrのステアリン酸を含む親混合物を、内部ミキサーを用いて製造した。約1kgの前記混合物を、RubiconのEEK32.12L単軸押出し機により流路を通して押し出した。流路の長さは300mm、高さは20mm、幅は15mmである。流路の中間には、平均周波数が4MHzのGE Sensing&Inspection Technologies GmbHの一対のK4V1超音波センサで構成される検出帯がある。超音波センサの発振器の直径は7mmである。100ms毎に、一方のセンサがニードルパルスを放出し、他方のセンサがこれを受信する。センサは、GE Sensing&Inspection Technologies GmbHのUSLT2000電子試験システムにより制御され、受信された試験信号は、電子試験システムによりコンピュータへ送られ、そこで処理された。押出し機および流路の温度は100℃に制御された。押出し機の回転速度は20rpmであった。処理量は約100g/分であった。これにより、押出し速度は約0.25m/分となった。供給から検出帯までの平均滞留時間は約2分であった。

時間t=3分で、約0.5gの粒子サイズ約2mm〜5mmの機械的に作られたプラスチック粒子を、約2分にわたって不規則に添加する。押出し機において約2分の滞留時間後、大きな変動が、減衰係数において観察された(図4)。粗プラスチック粒子での超音波信号の散乱のために、減衰は大幅に増大した。汚染物質、例えば、この場合は、機械的に作られたプラスチック粒子を、本発明の方法により明確に検出することができる。
それぞれ約1.2kgの4つの親ゴム混合物をGumix S.Aの1.5lのニーダーで製造した。回転速度は30rpm、ニーダーの充填レベルは70%、混合温度は約100℃であった。親混合物1は、100phrのSMR10天然ゴムと1phrのステアリン酸を含んでいた。前記親混合物1を、約5分間ニーダーで混合し、Rubicon Gummitechnik und Maschinentechnik GmbHの二本ロールミルで1分以内に前記混合物からミリングしたシートを成形した。親混合物2は、さらに、50phrのN110カーボンブラックを含んでおり、親混合物1に対応する方法により混合した。親混合物3は、ニーダーで2分間だけ混合した以外は、親混合物2に対応していた。親混合物4は同様に、混合物の混合が1分間だけだった以外は、親混合物2に対応していた。異なる混合手順によって、フィラーの異なるレベルの分散および解凝集がなされた。N110カーボンブラックは、ペレット(凝集したフィラー本体)の形態で供給され、その直径範囲は≦2mmであった。4つの異なる混合物を、実施例1として押出し機に連続して導入し、相対凝集係数αrel.(t)および音の速度vを求めた。強度I(t)をここで計算したとき、カーボンブラックのない親混合物1については、t=0分〜t=7分での平均強度Iaverageを標準化に用いた。図6に、4つ全ての親混合物についての測定結果を示す。前記混合物は、以下の表に示すとおり、連続して押出し機に導入し、連続して試験した。

先行技術から公知の方法は、混合物のムーニー粘度の5回の測定である。ここで必要な時間は、試料調製を含めて約30分である。すると、4つの混合物について必要な時間は約2時間である。さらに、その原因は、粗粒子汚染物質として直接識別できない。光学顕微鏡写真の作成が必要である。光学顕微鏡写真は、同じく、個々の試料毎に約2分必要であり。ここでは、さらに、多数の試料について個々に撮影しなければならない。また、未架橋ゴム混合物の光学顕微鏡写真を作成するのは難しい。さらに、先行技術より公知の方法は両方共、超音波プロセスより著しく少ない材料しか試験できない。この方法では、混合物の材料の約半分を試験する。本発明の方法は、従って、従来の方法よりも、より典型的かつ時間のかからないものである。

- 押出し中に、超音波透過測定により、未架橋ゴム混合物中の直径>100μmの微粒子汚染物質を検出する方法において、前記測定を>25℃の温度および0.5MHz〜20MHzの周波数で行い、超音波信号が≧10mmの距離を透過し、
前記未架橋ゴム混合物が、少なくとも1つの超音波センサ対でできた検出帯を通過することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記未架橋ゴム混合物中の音の速度も処理時間中に求められることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記検出帯が、互いに平行に並んだ少なくとも2つの超音波センサで構成され、前記未架橋ゴム混合物の全幅をまたいで並んでいることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 押出し機と、互いに平行に並んだ少なくとも2つの超音波センサ対でできた少なくとも1つの検出帯とでできた構成を含み、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法を実施するために、少なくとも1つの評価部を含む装置。
