Description
The present invention relates to an air / water supply conduit provided for cleaning an observation window of an endoscope.
As is well known, in an endoscope, an observation window disposed at the distal end of an insertion portion is frequently contaminated with a subject's dirt during endoscopic examination, for example, in-body sewage and body fluid in medical use. Therefore, each time the surface of the observation window of the endoscope becomes dirty, water is sprayed on the surface to wash away the sewage, and then the air feeding operation is performed to blow off the water remaining on the surface with air. . In this way, in the conventional endoscope, dirt attached to the surface of the observation window is removed, and poor visibility is improved. Note that an air / water nozzle is disposed at the distal end of the insertion portion of the conventional endoscope toward the surface of the observation window.
However, if the air supply and water supply nozzles are provided separately, the air supply jetting path and the water supply jetting path do not match, so that water droplets attached to the surface of the observation window cannot be sufficiently blown away. There is. For this reason, conventional endoscopes are mainly provided with an air / water supply nozzle that ejects air and water from the same opening.
Such a conventional endoscope is disclosed in, for example, Patent Document 1, and uses a confluence member formed of a bending pipe or the like, and a configuration in which an air supply conduit and a water supply conduit merge on the distal end side of the insertion portion. It has become. When the endoscope disclosed in Patent Document 1 is switched from a water supply state in which dirt on the surface of the observation window is washed away to a gas supply state in which water remaining on the surface of the observation window is blown off with air, The water can be stopped by partly flowing to the water supply pipe side.
By the way, if the conventional endoscope has an insufficient water-stopping effect, water in the water supply pipe will flow into the air supply pipe even though it is in the air supply state, and will adhere to the observation window. There is a problem that water drops cannot be removed indefinitely and water drainage is poor.
In order to solve such a problem, a conventional endoscope may be provided with a flow path switching member at a junction. However, the conventional endoscope has a drawback that the flow path switching member is provided to increase the size of the merging portion, and as a result, the insertion portion of the endoscope is increased in diameter.
Accordingly, the present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and the object of the present invention is to provide water from the inside of the water supply line to the air supply / water supply line when switching from the water supply operation to the air supply operation. It is possible to provide an endoscope that can be surely stopped from flowing out to improve water drainage and can be made into a thin insertion portion that prevents an increase in diameter.
An endoscope according to an aspect of the present invention includes a nozzle that supplies and supplies water to the surface of an observation window, an air supply line that is connected to an air supply source, a water supply line that is connected to a water supply source, and the nozzle. The air supply / water supply conduit extends to communicate with the air supply / water supply conduit on the distal end side, and the water supply conduit on the proximal end side passes through an opening provided in the air supply conduit. A merging portion that communicates from the side and is fitted such that a central axis of the water supply conduit merges perpendicularly with respect to a central axis of the air supply conduit, and in the merging portion, the water supply pipe The opening surface of the passage has a step with a predetermined length from the inner surface of the air supply conduit, and the opening surface of the water supply conduit is notched obliquely at a predetermined angle toward the proximal direction. It is.
According to the present invention, when the operation is switched from the water supply operation to the air supply operation, the flow of water from the water supply conduit to the air supply / water supply conduit can be surely stopped and the water drainage is improved. In addition, an endoscope that can be a thin insertion portion that prevents the increase in diameter can be provided.

As shown in FIG. 1, the endoscope 1 according to the present embodiment includes an operation unit 2, an insertion unit 3 inserted into a body cavity, and a universal cord unit 4 connected to the proximal end of the insertion unit 3. Configured. The insertion portion 3 includes a
As shown in FIG. 2, the distal
Returning to FIG. 1, an air /

That is, when pressurized air is supplied into the
In FIG. 3, an air /
Note that a
As described above, the endoscope 1 has a pipe line in which the
By the way, the air /
Here, the configuration of the
As shown in FIG. 4, the merging
The air
The water
A
In this way, the merging
The air
In addition, although the tube material of the
The endoscope 1 of the present embodiment configured as described above supplies air when the insertion portion 3 is inserted into a body cavity and dirt such as body fluid adheres to the surface of the observation window 9 during examination / diagnosis. By operating the water
From this state, the air / water
Since the surface of the observation window 9 is frequently cleaned during the inspection by such a water supply operation and an air supply operation, it is of course important to remove the residual water adhering to the surface of the observation window 9 immediately after the water supply. However, it is important that the remaining water that comes out of the
Therefore, in the endoscope 1 according to the present embodiment, the structure of the merging
Specifically, immediately after the water supply to wash away the filth adhering to the surface of the observation window 9, as shown in FIG. 5, as shown in FIG. 5, the leading end portion of the
That is, the pressurized air from the
Thereby, in the air / water supply pipeline system of the endoscope 1 of the present embodiment, unnecessary water from the
From the above description, when the endoscope 1 according to the present embodiment is switched from the water supply operation to the air supply operation, the air supply / water supply conduit of the air supply /
Note that the merging

In the present modification, the distal

The endoscope 1 in this modification configured as described above is also the same as described above, and when the turbulent flow is generated in the merging

(Second Embodiment)
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. In the present embodiment, the same members as those in the first embodiment described above are denoted by the same reference numerals, and detailed description thereof is omitted. 10 to 13 relate to the second embodiment of the present invention, FIG. 10 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the merge portion, FIG. 11 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the merge portion of the first modification, FIG. 12 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the merging portion of the second modification, and FIG. 13 is a cross-sectional view showing the configuration of the merging portion of the third modification.
The
Even with such a configuration, when the endoscope 1 of the present embodiment is switched from the water supply operation to the air supply operation, the water supply conduit member is formed in the recess formed on the inner surface of the air
Note that the merging
(First modification)
As shown in FIG. 11, the
At least a part of the tip opening 32 of the water
Also in the endoscope 1 of this modification configured as described above, the turbulent flow is generated in the merging
(Second modification)
As shown in FIGS. 12 (a) and 12 (b), the
Here, the front end opening 32 of the water
In this modification, the thickness of the
At this time, since the thicknesses of the
As described above, in the configuration of this modification, the air supply conduit has a structure in which the distal end opening 32 of the water
Thereby, the length X2 in the short direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the joining
(Third Modification)
As shown in FIGS. 13A and 13B, the
In the XIII-XIII cross section close to the
The configuration of the endoscope 1 is not limited to the above-described embodiments or their modifications. For example, the
As described above, in the endoscope 1 of the present invention, the air supply pipe line is formed so that the front
