Claims (6)
- 酸素センサによってストイキの空燃比を検知してソレノイドでパータベーションを行う内燃機関において、
ソレノイドと並列に調整弁が設けられ、
制御部は、ソレノイドの開閉領域の中間領域でパータベーションを行う際のソレノイドのバルブ開度と調整弁のバルブ開度との相関関係の制御マップを具備することを特徴とする内燃機関。 - 制御部は、吸気部の経時的劣化に応じて制御マップを更新するようになされた請求項1記載の内燃機関。
- 制御部は、ソレノイドによるパータベーションによって変化する空燃比の応答時間のずれを検知し、この応答時間のずれに応じて制御マップを更新する請求項2記載の内燃機関。
- 制御部は、制御マップを基に、ソレノイドの開閉領域の中間領域でパータベーションが行われるように調整弁の開度を制御する請求項1ないし3の何れか一に記載の内燃機関。
- 制御部は、調整弁を全開してもソレノイドの開閉領域の中間領域でパータベーションを行うことができなくなった場合にソレノイドの摩耗または調整弁の汚損を通報する通報手段を有する請求項1ないし4の何れか一に記載の内燃機関。
- 調整弁はリーン制御可能な特性となされ、制御部は、この調整弁によるリーン運転を制御できるようになされたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし5の何れか一に記載の内燃機関。
