Claims (6)
- 坩堝と、前記坩堝が内部に設置される炉本体と、前記炉本体の側壁に取り付けられかつ前記坩堝を加熱するための高温ガスを前記炉本体内に噴射するバーナーと、を備えた坩堝炉であって、
前記炉本体の側壁と前記坩堝との間に周隙が存在し、
前記炉本体の前記側壁の内面の少なくとも一部の領域は、上下に延びる凸部及び凹部が周方向に沿って交互に並んだ凹凸状に形成されており、
前記凸部及び凹部は断面視台形形状であり、
前記凹部の深さは20mm〜50mmであり、前記凹部の開口幅は40mm〜100mmであり、隣り合う前記凹部の間隔は40mm〜80mmである坩堝炉。 - 前記凸部及び凹部の延びる方向が垂直方向に対して0°〜45°をなす請求項1に記載の坩堝炉。
- 前記バーナーの高温ガスの噴射方向が前記凸部及び凹部の延びる方向に対して直角をなす請求項2に記載の坩堝炉。
- 前記凸部及び凹部は、前記炉本体の前記側壁の内面において、前記坩堝の上端に対応する位置から下端に対応する位置まで延びている請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の坩堝炉。
- 前記炉本体の前記側壁には、セラミックスファイバーからなる内張り層が施されており、前記内張り層が凹凸状に形成されている請求項1〜4のいずれかに記載の坩堝炉。
- 前記坩堝の外面には、周方向に沿って、上下に延びる縦リブ又は縦溝が間隔をあけて複数設けられている請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の坩堝炉。
