Description
前記外輪部材には前記軸受内部空間と外部空間とを連通する少なくとも1個の排気孔が形成され、前記封止部材を嵌挿する体積は前記密封装置を圧入する体積よりも小さく、
前記密封装置により前記軸受内部空間を密封する第1工程と、
前記第1工程の後、前記排気孔に弾性部材からなる封止部材を嵌挿させる第2工程と、を有することである。
図1は、本発明の一実施形態である転がり軸受を備えたハブユニット1の縦断面図である。図2は、本発明の一実施形態である転がり軸受の組立工程で排気孔9に封止部材10を嵌挿した状態の拡大断面図である。図1及び図2を参照しつつ説明する。なお、以下の説明において、車両インナ側とは図1における左側を示し、車両アウタ側とは図1における右側を示すものとする。
円柱部10bは、その外径Aが排気孔9の内径Bよりもわずかに大きく設定されていて、締め代をもって嵌合することにより、排気孔9から軸受内部空間6のグリースが漏れることを防止するとともに、軸受外部からの異物の侵入を防止する密封性能を確保する。ここで、封止部材10は、円柱部10bが押圧により縮径可能なゴムや樹脂などの弾性部材からなる。
鍔部10aは、排気孔9への嵌挿時に排気孔9から軸受内部空間6へ入り込むことを防止できる。
Claims (1)
- 固定側の軌道面を有する外輪部材と、回転側の軌道面を有する内輪部材と、前記外輪部材と前記内輪部材との間の軸受内部空間に配置される転動体と、前記軸受内部空間のアキシャル方向の両端に配置されて、前記軸受内部空間を圧入密封する密封装置と、を備える転がり軸受の製造方法において、
前記外輪部材には前記軸受内部空間と外部空間とを連通する少なくとも1個の排気孔が形成され、前記封止部材を嵌挿する体積は前記密封装置を圧入する体積よりも小さく、
前記密封装置により前記軸受内部空間を密封する第1工程と、
前記第1工程の後、前記排気孔に弾性部材からなる封止部材を嵌挿させる第2工程と、を有する
