Description
本出願は、2010年3月23日に出願されたアメリカ合衆国仮出願シリアル番号第61/316735号の優先権を主張するものであり、その内容が参考としてこの明細書に組み込まれている。
Claims (16)
- 目の後眼房に埋め込むことのできる調節型眼内レンズ(AIOL)であって、
瞳孔の半径に応じて、入射光に対して与えられる位相シフトの線形な変化を生じさせる台形型位相シフトを生じさせるように構成された光学系と、
複数のハプティックであって、該ハプティックの各々が、ハプティック光学系接合部から、目の水晶体嚢と接触する少なくとも1本の横断アームまで延びると共に目の水晶体嚢を引き伸ばして目の毛様体筋と接触させるのに十分な長さ及び硬度を備える複数のハプティックと、を具備し、
前記ハプティック光学系接合部が、前記光学系を前記ハプティックに対して前方に湾曲させていて、毛様体筋による前記ハプティックの圧縮によって前記光学系に少なくとも1.5mNの前向きの力が及ぼされ、
前記台形型位相シフトが、有効な視覚性能に関して合計で少なくとも0.75ジオプターという有効ジオプターの変化を生じさせるように前向きの力の視覚的効果を増大させて、光の条件が変化する結果として、異なった距離と瞳孔のサイズに対して異なった有効な焦点深度が提供される調節型眼内レンズ。 - 前記ハプティックのうちの少なくとも2つが前記光学系の直径に沿って延びていて、該直径に沿った前記ハプティックの横断アーム間の距離が9.5〜11.5mmである請求項1に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 前記直径に沿った前記横断アーム間の距離が少なくとも10mmである請求項2に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 前記ハプティック光学系接合部の湾曲角度が少なくとも5度である請求項1に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 前記ハプティックが内側に向けて0.5mm圧縮されるとき、前記光学系における前向きの力が少なくとも1.5mNである請求項1に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 前記ハプティックの横断アームが略正方形の肘部から延びている請求項1に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 前記ハプティックの各々が2本の横断アームを有する請求項1に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- ヤング率が0.8〜3mPaの材料から形成された単一部材の調節型眼内レンズである請求項1に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 前記ハプティックの周囲に水晶体嚢リングをさらに具備し、該水晶体嚢リングが、前記ハプティックによって水晶体嚢が引き伸ばされるときにその水晶体嚢リングを水晶体嚢に合わせることのできるつぶせる区画を有する請求項1に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 調節型眼内レンズ(IOL)システムであって、
同一の屈折力を備えた2つの光学領域を有し、瞳孔の半径に応じて、入射光に対して与えられる位相シフトにおける前記2つの光学領域間の線形な変化である台形型位相シフトを生じさせるように構成された、ジオプターが正である前部光学系と、ハプティックの直径に沿って前記前部光学系の互いに反対側にある複数の前部ハプティックとを有する調節型前部調節型眼内レンズであって、前記前部ハプティックの各々が、ハプティック光学系接合部から、目の水晶体嚢と接触する少なくとも1本の横断アームまで当該前部ハプティックの直径に沿って延びると共に目の水晶体嚢を引き伸ばして目の毛様体筋と接触させるのに十分な長さ及び硬度を備え、前記ハプティック光学系接合部は、前記前部光学系を前記前部ハプティックに対して前方に湾曲させていて、毛様体筋による当該前部ハプティックの圧縮によって前記前部光学系が前方に移動する調節型前部調節型眼内レンズと、
後部光学系と後部ハプティックとを有する後部調節型眼内レンズであって、前記後部ハプティックが、当該後部ハプティックの直径に対して略垂直な径方向に延びており、前記後部ハプティックは、水晶体嚢が前記前部ハプティックによって引き伸ばされるときに圧縮され、該後部ハプティックの圧縮によって前記後部光学系が強制的に前方に移動する後部調節型眼内レンズと、を具備する調節型眼内レンズシステム。
ンズシステム。 - 前記前部光学系が台形型位相シフトを生み出せる請求項10に記載の調節型眼内レンズシステム。
- 前記後部光学系が、当該後部光学系の前面の周囲に複数の突起をさらに有し、該複数の突起が、水晶体嚢の前側まで延びている請求項10に記載の調節型眼内レンズシステム。
- 前記ハプティック光学系接合部の湾曲角度が少なくとも5度である請求項10に記載の調節型眼内レンズシステム。
- 調節型眼内レンズ(AIOL)であって、
同一の屈折力を備えた2つの光学領域を有し、瞳孔の半径に応じて、入射光に対して与えられる位相シフトにおける前記2つの光学領域間の線形な変化である台形型位相シフトを生じさせるように構成された光学系と、
複数のハプティックであって、該ハプティックの各々が、ハプティック光学系接合部から、目の水晶体嚢と接触する少なくとも1本の横断アームまで延びると共に目の水晶体嚢を引き伸ばして目の毛様体筋と接触させるのに十分な長さ及び硬度を備える複数のハプティックと、を具備し、
前記ハプティック光学系接合部が、前記光学系を前記ハプティックに対して前方に湾曲させていて、毛様体筋による前記ハプティックの圧縮によって前記後部光学系が前方に移動し、前記後部光学系の移動と前記台形型位相シフトとによって生じる合計した調節ジオプターが、少なくとも0.5ジオプターである調節型眼内レンズ。 - 前記合計した調節ジオプターが少なくとも1.0ジオプターである請求項14に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
- 前記ハプティックが毛様体筋によって圧縮されるとき、前記後部光学系が少なくとも0.3mm前方に移動する請求項14に記載の調節型眼内レンズ。
