Claims (16)
- 埋め込み可能医療デバイスのための回路であって、
入力電圧により給電され、バッテリをバッテリの端子ノードで充電する電力を生成するための供給源、及び、生成された電力を前記バッテリの端子ノードにゲートするための過電圧スイッチであって、バッテリ過電圧信号がアサートされた場合に開かれる前記過電圧スイッチ、を含む第1の充電経路と、
少なくとも1つの第1の1つのダイオードによって前記バッテリの端子ノードに結合し、前記入力電圧を用いて前記バッテリを受動的に充電するための第2の充電経路と、
前記バッテリの端子ノードと前記埋め込み可能医療デバイス内の負荷との間に結合され、少なくともバッテリ不足電圧信号がアサートされた場合に開かれる少なくとも1つの負荷スイッチと、
を含むことを特徴とする回路。 - 集積回路上に統合されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記供給源によって生成可能な前記電力は、定電流、又は定電圧、又は両方であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記バッテリの端子ノードと前記負荷との間に並列に結合された第1及び第2の負荷スイッチが存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記第1の負荷スイッチは、前記バッテリ不足電圧信号がアサートされた場合に開かれ、
前記第2の負荷スイッチは、前記バッテリ不足電圧信号又は過電流信号のいずれかがアサートされた場合に開かれる、
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の回路。 - 前記少なくとも1つの負荷スイッチを通る電流が閾値を超えた場合に前記過電流信号をアサートするための過電流検出器を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 前記第1の負荷スイッチの抵抗が、前記第2の負荷スイッチの抵抗よりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 前記第2の負荷スイッチは、更に、磁場検出信号がアサートされた場合に開かれることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の回路。
- 前記第1及び第2の充電経路の間に少なくとも1つの第2のダイオードを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記少なくとも1つの第1のダイオード及び前記少なくとも1つの第2のダイオードは、それらの正端子で接続され、それらの負端子が、前記過電圧スイッチの両側に結合されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項9に記載の回路。 - 第1のダイオードの数及び第2のダイオードの数が、同じであることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の回路。
- 前記入力電圧を生成するためのコイル及び整流器回路を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記整流器回路と前記入力電圧との間にダイオードを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の回路。
- 前記バッテリの端子ノードを受け入れるための及び該バッテリの端子ノードでの電圧が閾値未満に降下した時に前記バッテリ不足電圧信号をアサートするための不足電圧検出器を更に含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
- 前記不足電圧検出器はパッシブであり、かつ前記バッテリ不足電圧信号をアサートするいずれの制御信号も必要としないことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の回路。
- 前記バッテリの端子ノード,前記バッテリ過電圧信号,及び前記バッテリ不足電圧信号を受け入れるための放電回路を更に含み、
前記放電回路は、前記バッテリ過電圧信号がアサートされた時に前記バッテリの端子ノードを接地に結合するが、該放電回路は、前記バッテリ不足電圧信号がアサートされた時に該バッテリの端子ノードを接地から切り離す、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回路。
