Description
(1) カテーテルであって、
遠位端部を有する挿入チューブと、
前記挿入チューブの前記遠位端部に固定された弾性遠位区間であって、前記遠位区間は、外部表面と内部灌注ルーメンとを有し、前記外部表面の上方に隆起する複数のリング電極を備え、前記複数のリング電極は、前記外部表面の円周全体に環状に配置されており、各リング電極は、その下方に空洞を画定し、前記リング電極は、それらを貫通して形成された複数の穿孔を有し、前記外部表面は、その中に少なくとも1つのブリーチホールを有し、前記ブリーチホールは、各リング電極の下に配置され、かつ前記灌注ルーメンと流体連通しており、各リング電極の前記空洞及び前記穿孔は、各リング電極を通じて前記弾性遠位区間から灌注流体を分配するためのものである、弾性遠位区間と、を備える、カテーテル。
(2) 前記挿入チューブは、血管を通じて被験者の心臓の中へと挿入するために構成されており、前記弾性遠位区間は、前記心臓内に配置されると、開ループを画定する、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(3) 各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの直径は寸法が変化する、実施態様2に記載のカテーテル。
(4) 各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの前記直径は、前記弾性遠位区間に沿って近位側から遠位側に向かって、小さいものから大きいものへと寸法が変化する、実施態様3に記載のカテーテル。
(5) 各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの前記直径は、前記弾性遠位区間に沿って近位側から遠位側に向かって、大きいものから小さいものへと寸法が変化する、実施態様3に記載のカテーテル。
(6) 前記遠位区間の中間部分における各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの直径は、寸法が類似しており、前記中央部分の近位側及び遠位側の各ブリーチホールの前記直径は、前記弾性遠位区間の前記中間部分の各ブリーチホールとは寸法が異なる、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(7) 前記弾性遠位区間は、少なくとも3個のリング電極を有する、実施態様4に記載のカテーテル。
(8) 前記弾性遠位区間は、10個のリング電極を有する、実施態様7に記載のカテーテル。
(9) 前記弾性遠位区間は、少なくとも3個のリング電極を有する、実施態様5に記載のカテーテル。
(10) 前記弾性遠位区間は、10個のリング電極を有する、実施態様9に記載のカテーテル。
(12) 前記弾性遠位区間は、10個のリング電極を有する、実施態様11に記載のカテーテル。
(13) 前記リング電極は、90重量%の白金、10重量%のイリジウムでできている、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(14) 前記リング電極は、80重量%のパラジウム、20重量%の白金でできている、実施態様1に記載のカテーテル。
(15) 前記遠位セグメントは、前記セグメントに沿って近位側から遠位側に向かってOD(外径)が約0.0127cm(0.005インチ)〜0.953cm(0.375インチ)へと変化するブリーチホールパターンを有する、実施態様4に記載のカテーテル。
(16) 前記遠位セグメントは、前記セグメントに沿って近位側から遠位側に向かって約0.0305cm(0.012インチ)〜0.0635cm(0.025インチ)のOD(外径)に変化するブリーチホールパターンを有する、実施態様15に記載のカテーテル。
(17) 前記遠位セグメントは、前記セグメントに沿って近位側から遠位側に向かってOD(外径)が約0.0127cm(0.005インチ)〜0.953cm(0.375インチ)へと変化するブリーチホールパターンを有する、実施態様8に記載のカテーテル。
(18) 前記遠位セグメントは、前記セグメントに沿って近位側から遠位側に向かって約0.0305cm(0.012インチ)〜0.0635cm(0.025インチ)のOD(外径)に変化するブリーチホールパターンを有する、実施態様17に記載のカテーテル。
(19) 前記リング電極は、90重量%の白金、10重量%のイリジウムでできている、実施態様18に記載のカテーテル。
(20) 前記リング電極は、80重量%のパラジウム、20重量%の白金でできている、実施態様18に記載のカテーテル。
Claims (20)
- カテーテルであって、
遠位端部を有する挿入チューブと、
前記挿入チューブの前記遠位端部に固定された弾性遠位区間であって、前記遠位区間は、外部表面と内部灌注ルーメンとを有し、前記外部表面の上方に隆起する複数のリング電極を備え、前記複数のリング電極は、前記外部表面の円周全体に環状に配置されており、各リング電極は、その下方に空洞を画定し、前記空洞は、前記リング電極と前記外部表面との間に設けられ、前記リング電極は、それらを貫通して形成された複数の穿孔を有し、前記外部表面は、その中に少なくとも1つのブリーチホールを有し、前記ブリーチホールは、各リング電極の下に配置され、かつ前記灌注ルーメンと流体連通しており、各リング電極の前記空洞及び前記穿孔は、各リング電極を通じて前記弾性遠位区間から灌注流体を分配するためのものである、弾性遠位区間と、を備える、カテーテル。 - 前記挿入チューブは、血管を通じて被験者の心臓の中へと挿入するために構成されており、前記弾性遠位区間は、前記心臓内に配置されると、開ループを画定する、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
- 各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの直径は寸法が変化する、請求項2に記載のカテーテル。
- 各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの前記直径は、前記弾性遠位区間に沿って近位側から遠位側に向かって、小さいものから大きいものへと寸法が変化する、請求項3に記載のカテーテル。
- 各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの前記直径は、前記弾性遠位区間に沿って近位側から遠位側に向かって、大きいものから小さいものへと寸法が変化する、請求項3に記載のカテーテル。
- 前記遠位区間の中間部分における各リング電極の前記少なくとも1つのブリーチホールの直径は、寸法が類似しており、前記中央部分の近位側及び遠位側の各ブリーチホールの前記直径は、前記弾性遠位区間の前記中間部分の各ブリーチホールとは寸法が異なる、請求項1に記載のカテーテル。
