Claims (14)
- 患者に埋め込むための埋込型医療デバイスであって、
患者に神経刺激治療を送出するために使用するように構成された神経刺激回路と、
前記神経刺激治療を送出するように前記神経刺激回路を制御し、患者の入力によって制御されるトリガである患者制御式トリガを検出し、検出された前記患者制御式トリガに応答して、前記治療を自動的に修正又は自動的に停止し、検出された前記患者制御式トリガの後の所定の回復期間の後に前記治療を自動的に回復する、ように構成され、所定のトリガ計数期間にわたって検出された前記患者制御式トリガの数を計数し、該所定のトリガ計数期間にわたる検出された前記患者制御式トリガの数を1つよりも多くのトリガの所定の数に対して比較し、該所定のトリガ計数期間にわたる検出された前記患者制御式トリガの数が前記トリガの所定の数に到達する時に、前記所定の回復期間の経過にかかわらず、認証された個人が前記治療をリセットするまで該治療の自動的な修正又は自動的な停止を継続するように構成された無効化コントローラを有する、コントローラと、
を含むことを特徴とする埋込型医療デバイス。 - 前記所定の回復期間は、所定の時間期間であり、
前記コントローラは、前記所定の時間期間の終了を判断するように構成されたタイマを有し、
前記コントローラは、前記所定の時間期間の前記終了で前記治療を自動的に回復するように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 反復性イベント検出器と、該検出された反復性イベントを計数するように構成されたカウンタと、を有し、
前記所定の回復期間は、前記検出された反復性イベントの所定のカウントであり、
前記コントローラは、反復性イベントの前記検出された数が前記所定のカウントに達する時を判断し、該反復性イベントの数が該所定のカウントに達する時に前記治療を自動的に回復するように構成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 前記反復性イベントは、前記神経刺激治療からの神経刺激パルス又は神経刺激バーストであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記反復性イベント検出器は、心周期内の心臓イベントを検出するように構成された心臓イベント検出器であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載のデバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、所定の治療ウインドウにわたって前記治療の量を判断し、該所定の治療ウインドウにわたる該治療の該量を所定の治療量に対して比較し、該所定の治療ウインドウにわたる該治療の該量が該所定の治療量よりも少ない場合に、検出された前記患者制御式トリガに対する治療の前記自動的な修正又は自動的な停止を変更するように構成された治療投与量コントローラを有することを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、1つよりも多くの検出された前記患者制御式トリガに対してはしご状応答を行うように構成され、
検出された第1の患者制御式トリガが、検出された前記第1の患者制御式トリガに対する前記所定の回復期間として機能する第1の時間期間に関連付けられ、検出された第2の患者制御式トリガが、検出された前記第2の患者制御式トリガに対する該所定の回復期間として機能する該第1の期間よりも長い第2の期間に関連付けられる、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項6のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。 - 前記コントローラは、検出された前記患者制御式トリガに応答して前記治療を自動的に停止させるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、検出された前記患者制御式トリガに応答して前記治療の強度を自動的に調節するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、検出された前記患者制御式トリガに応答して前記治療の前記強度を自動的に弱めるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、検出された前記患者制御式トリガに応答して前記治療の前記強度を自動的に強めるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデバイス。
- 前記神経刺激回路は、心臓血管治療のための前記神経刺激治療を送出するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。
- 前記患者は、異なる場所への前記患者の動きを制御することが可能であり、検出された前記患者制御式トリガは、前記患者の動きによって制御される前記患者の場所を検出するのに使用されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
- 前記コントローラは、前記患者の環境を示す信号を検出し、検出された前記患者制御式トリガ及び該環境を示す該信号が一緒に発生した場合に、前記治療を自動的に調節するように更に構成されることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項12のいずれか1項に記載のデバイス。
