Claims (2)
- 地球周回軌道上のスペースデブリを除去する方法であって、
前記スペースデブリよりも低く前記地球周回軌道上における大気よりも高い密度によって、該地球周回軌道上における大気よりも抵抗力を高くした空間を、一方の開口端を地球に向けた筒体の周面によって構成し、該周面を、前記筒体を配置する地球周回軌道の高度における大気よりも高い密度を有する低密度の減速材料で構成して、前記筒体を、一方の開口端を地球に向けて前記地球周回軌道上に配置し、
前記筒体の両開口端どうしを結ぶ直線と交差する方向において前記筒体を通過する前記地球周回軌道上のスペースデブリを、前記周面において、該周面から前記スペースデブリが受ける抵抗力により、破砕させずに減速させ、
減速させた前記スペースデブリを前記地球周回軌道上から落下させる、
ことを特徴とするスペースデブリ除去方法。 - 前記地球周回軌道上から所定期間を費やして落下する面積質量比の前記筒体を前記地球周回軌道上に配置するようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のスペースデブリ除去方法。
