Description
本発明の第2の目的は、偏光板不良を防止し、工程の作業時間の増加を防止することである。
また、本発明の第3の目的は、銀ドットまたは導電性テープによる視野角範囲の低下及び信頼性低下の問題を防止することである。
Claims (4)
- 液晶表示装置であって、
横電界方式の液晶パネルを有する液晶表示モジュールであって、前記横電界方式の液晶パネルが、下部基板としての第1基板と、前記第1基板に対向する上部基板としての第2基板と、前記第1基板上に交互に配列された共通電極及び画素電極と、前記第1基板と第2基板の間に配置された液晶層とを備えており、かつ前記第1基板は前記第2基板に比べて面積が大きく、前記第1基板の一端が突出している液晶表示モジュール;
前記液晶表示モジュールの背面を覆う第1カバー;
前記液晶表示モジュールの前面を覆い、透明導電層を有し、前記透明導電層は、前記第1基板と同じ面積を有している第2カバー;及び
柱状形の放電パスを備えており、
柱状形である前記放電パスの一端は、前記第1基板と同一の寸法を有する前記透明導電層と接触しており、かつ前記放電パスの他端は前記第1基板の前記一端と接触しており、さらに前記放電パスは、表示領域の減少や側面の視野角範囲の低下が防止されるように、前記第2基板の外側に位置していることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。 - 前記透明導電層が、酸化インジウムスズ(ITO)または酸化インジウム亜鉛(IZO)であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記透明導電層が、両面粘着テープを介して前記横電界方式の液晶パネルに接着されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記液晶モジュールが、
前記横電界方式の液晶パネルの背面に位置して光を供給するバックライトユニット;
前記バックライトユニットの背面を覆うボトムフレーム;及び
前記横電界方式の液晶パネルの側面を覆うメインフレームを備えていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
