Claims (6)
- フライス(10)において、
前方から後方に延びる縦軸(A)を有したカッター本体(12)であって、当該カッター本体(12)の先端面(14)に隣接し、円周方向に互いに間隔を置いて配置された少なくとも3つのインサートポケット(18)を有したカッター本体(12)と、
それぞれインサートポケット(18)に固定された交換可能な切削インサート(20)であって、それぞれの切削インサート(20)は少なくとも2つの同一の直線状ののこぎり歯状の刃(24)を有し、総ての切削インサート(20)が同一である切削インサート(20)と、を具え、
第1インサートポケット(30)は軸方向において最も前方のインサートポケットであり、
総てのインサートポケット(18)は軸方向において一方に対して他方がオフセットされており、
第2のインサートポケット(32)は、第1インサートポケット(30)から軸方向において第1のオフセット距離(d1)だけオフセットされており、この第1オフセット距離は、他の軸方向で隣接するどのインサートポケット対についてのオフセット距離(d2、d3)よりも小さいことを特徴とするフライス(10)。 - それぞれののこぎり歯状切刃(24)は山(26)と谷(28)からなり、これら山と谷は等間隔であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス(10)。
- それぞれの切削インサート(20)は、概略長方形の形であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス(10)。
- 少なくとも2つの同一の直線状ののこぎり歯状の刃(24)は互いに平行であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス(10)。
- 2つまたはそれ以上の、他の軸方向で隣接するインサートポケットの対は、同じ第2のオフセット距離を有し、第1のオフセット距離は第2のオフセット距離よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス(10)。
- 少なくとも4つのインサートポケットが設けられ、第1のオフセット距離は、総ての他の軸方向で隣接するインサートポケット対についてのオフセット距離よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス(10)。
