Description

ルータ10の使用法の別の例には、アクセス(骨内へのアクセスなどを含む)するところの被験者の身体および/または試料の骨髄(sample bone marrow)の組織または別の物質を切開および除去することを促進するための剛性または半剛性の生検針などの針、spinal interventionに使用される針、または、被験者の身体の内部部位への一般的なアクセスを可能にする針、を回転、スピン、振動および/またはハンマリングさせることが含まれる。針をスピンまたは振動させることは、堅固な基質または硬い基質を針により貫通、穿孔および粉砕(mill)することの補助となり得る。その遠位先端の円周部周りに鋸歯を含む針と共に使用される場合、ルータ10により針をスピンさせることにより、骨あるいは別の硬い組織または堅固な組織内で針を手動で除芯することが可能となり得る。別法としてまたは追加で、ルータ10により針をその長手方向軸に沿わせて前後に移動させてハンマリングさせる場合、貫通させることもできる。
Claims (11)
- 片手により細長い医療器具を手動でスピンさせるためのルータにおいて、
円筒形状のハウジングであって、前記ハウジングの長さに沿って延在する細長いスロットを有する、円筒形状のハウジングと、
前記円筒形状のハウジングの内部にある回転可能要素であって、前記円筒形状のハウジングの長さの全体を通って延在し、前記円筒形要素の表面から突出する螺旋隆起部を有する回転促進器を含む円筒形要素を備え、前記螺旋隆起部は前記円筒形状のハウジングの内部の長さに沿って延在する、回転可能要素と、
細長い医療器具に回転可能に係合されるための前記回転可能要素上の結合機構と、
片手による前記回転可能要素の回転を可能に構成されたアクチュエータであって、
前記円筒形状のハウジング内に在る円筒形要素であって、
前記回転可能要素を囲み、
前記円筒形状のハウジングの前記内部の長さを通って、前記回転可能要素の長さの少なくとも一部に沿って並進するように構成され、および、
前記円筒形要素の内面を画定するアパーチャであって、前記内面は、前記回転可能要素の前記回転促進器の前記螺旋隆起部を相補的に係合させる駆動機構を画定し、前記アクチュエータの前記円筒形要素が前記回転可能要素の前記長さの少なくとも一部に沿って並進するに従って前記回転可能要素を回転させるように構成された、アパーチャを含む、
円筒形要素、
前記円筒形要素から前記円筒形状のハウジングの前記細長いスロットを通って延在する中間部分、および、
外部要素であって、
前記円筒形状のハウジングの外側で前記アクチュエータの前記中間部分に固定され、
前記円筒形状のハウジングの前記長さに沿って並進するように構成され、および、
前記円筒形状のハウジング内の前記細長いスロットに沿って前記アクチュエータの前記中間部分を並進させるように構成されて、前記アクチュエータの前記円筒形要素を前記円筒形状のハウジングの前記内部の前記長さの少なくとも一部に沿って並進させる、
外部要素
を含むアクチュエータと、
導管であって、前記細長い医療器具を受けるために前記回転可能要素の長さを通って延在して前記ルータの遠位端および近位端に連通する、導管と、
を備え、
前記細長い医療器具が長手方向に移動している間、または、前記細長い医療器具の長手方向の移動とは別に、前記細長い医療器具をスピンさせるように構成された、ルータ。 - 前記アクチュエータの前記外部要素は、前記アクチュエータの前記中間部分にヒンジ式に固定された、請求項1に記載のルータ。
- 前記アクチュエータの前記外部要素は、前記円筒形状のハウジングの反対側どうしにある細長いスロットを通して前記アクチュエータの前記中間部分の反対側どうしに係合する一対の離間されたアームを含む、請求項2に記載のルータ。
- 前記ハウジング上にあり、手の一部分によって保持されるように構成されたハンドル
をさらに備えた、請求項1または請求項2に記載のルータ。 - 前記ハンドルは、前記ハウジングの長手方向に対して横方向に方向付けられた細長い要素を備えた、請求項4に記載のルータ。
- 前記アクチュエータの前記外部要素は、手動で作動されるために指により係合されるように構成された、前記円筒形状のハウジングの反対側どうしから延在する一対の外部要素を含む、請求項1または請求項2に記載のルータ。

をさらに備えた、請求項1または請求項2に記載のルータ。 - 前記円筒形状のハウジングの外周の、前記アクチュエータの前記外部要素と同じ側で、前記円筒形状のハウジングの近い位置に固定されて突き出るハンドル
をさらに備えた、請求項4または請求項5に記載のルータ。 - 請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のルータと共に使用されるように構成されたマセレータワイヤにおいて、前記マセレータワイヤの残りの部分の軸を越えて延在する少なくとも1つの非直線状機構を有する遠位端を備えた、マセレータワイヤ。
- 前記少なくとも1つの非直線状機構は、被験者の身体内に前記マセレータワイヤを導入するのを促進するために前記マセレータワイヤの前記残りの部分の前記軸に対して横方向に方向付けられた滑らかな遠位側縁部を画定する、請求項9に記載のマセレータワイヤ。
