Description
この方向切換弁は、内部に弁室11を有する弁ボディ10を備え、該弁ボディ10内の該弁室11の両端の開口部が、蓋部材12及びカバー13で気密に閉鎖され、上記弁室11内には、軸線L方向に駆動される弁棒30が配設され、また、上記弁室11には、上記軸線L方向と直交する方向に開口する供給ポート19、出力ポート20及び排気ポート21が、該弁室11の一端側から他端側に向けて順次配置されて該弁室11に連通し、上記供給ポート19と出力ポート20との間、及び出力ポート20と排気ポート21との間には、該弁室11を区画する区画壁15,16が設けられ、上記区画壁15と上記蓋部材12との間、及び上記区画壁16とカバー13との間に、弁棒30の軸線L方向の移動をガイドする複数の通孔を備えたリテーナ27,28が配設されている。
また、パイロット圧力室40のパイロットエアが排出されると、復帰ばね41の付勢力で弁棒30が上記切換位置から図の左側に向けて移動し、ポペット弁部37の弁シート部38aが供給弁座39aに圧接して該弁座39aを閉じると共に、弁シート部38bが排気弁座39bから離間してそれらの間の流路を開き、その結果、出力ポート20側からの圧縮空気が排気ポート21を通して外部に排出される。
更に具体的な本発明の技術的課題は、高速の空気流に誘導されてポペット弁部における排気ポート側の側面付近に低圧部が発生するのを抑制するための簡単な手段を備えた単動形方向切換弁を提供することにある。
また、本発明においては、上記傾斜面が上記弁シート部より内側の位置で上記ポペット弁部の側面に連なっていることが望ましい。
即ち、上記復帰ばね41の付勢力で上記ポペット弁部37が排気弁座39bから離間を開始するとき、上記出力ポート20側から圧力の高い圧縮空気が上記排気弁座39bと弁シート部38bとの間の間隙を通じて弁室11の中心に向けて高速で流入を開始するが、該圧縮空気の流れは、上記ポペット弁部37の側面37bの上記突壁45の外周面45aにより軸線L方向に向きを変えられ、上記圧縮空気はポペット弁部37の側面37bから離れる方向に流れることになるので、既知の単動形方向切換弁のようにポペット弁部37の排気ポート21側の部分に低圧部を発生させることがなく、従って弁棒30の切換動作が不安定になることはない。

Claims (4)
- 供給ポート、出力ポート及び排気ポートを備えた弁ボディと、該弁ボディの内部に上記ポートに連通するように形成された弁室と、該弁室内に該弁室の軸線方向に摺動自在に収容された弁棒と、該弁棒を駆動する切換駆動機構及び復帰ばねとを有し、
上記弁室には、上記供給ポートと上記出力ポートとを結ぶ流路を取り囲む供給弁座と、上記出力ポートと上記排気ポートとを結ぶ流路を取り囲む排気弁座とが、上記軸線方向の互いに相対する位置に形成され、
上記弁棒は、上記供給弁座と上記排気弁座との間に配置された円形のポペット弁部と、該ポペット弁部の左右の側面に連なる括れ部とを有し、
上記ポペット弁部の上記左右の側面は上記軸線に垂直をなし、該左右の側面には、上記供給弁座及び上記排気弁座に接離する環状の弁シート部が形成され、上記左右の側面のうち少なくとも上記排気弁座側を向く側面には、上記排気弁座及び弁シート部の内側で上記軸線方向に突出する環状の突壁が該ポペット弁部と一体に形成され、
上記突壁の外周面は、上記軸線と平行に延びる円筒面と、該円筒面の基端部を上記ポペット弁部の側面になだらかに連通させる傾斜面とを有し、上記円筒面の直径は、上記ポペット弁部の直径より小さいが上記弁棒の括れ部の直径より大きい、
ことを特徴とする単動形方向切換弁。 - 上記突壁の高さは、上記ポペット弁部が該突壁側に位置する一方の弁座から離れて他方の弁座に当接しているとき該突壁が上記一方の弁座の内孔から完全に抜け出す高さであり、また該突壁の高さは、該突壁が上記一方の弁座の内孔内に嵌合しているときに該突壁の円筒面と上記内孔の内周面との間に形成される環状空間の幅より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の単動形方向切換弁。
- 上記傾斜面は、上記弁シート部より内側の位置で上記ポペット弁部の側面に連なっていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の単動形方向切換弁。
- 上記弁ボディの内部に、上記流路の一部を形成する通孔を側面に備えた筒状の一対のリテーナが上記軸線に沿って設けられ、該リテーナの相対する端部に上記供給弁座と排気弁座とが形成され、該リテーナの内部に上記弁棒が収容されると共に、上記一対のリテーナの相対する端部間に上記ポペット弁部が配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れかに記載の単動形方向切換弁。
