R−(G)m

90部の2−EHA、10部のAA、0.15部のIRGACURE 651、及び0.03部のIOTGを混合することにより、アクリルポリマー(AP−1)を調製した。包装フィルム(CT Film,Dallas,TexasからVA−24フィルムとして販売されている厚さ0.0635mmのエチレンビニルアセテートコポリマーフィルム)から目立たない(Discreet)フィルムパッケージを形成した。AP−1組成物を、約10センチメートル(cm)×5cm×厚さ0.5cmと測定されたフィルムパッケージ内に密封した。約21℃〜約32℃に維持された水浴中に浸漬している間、パッケージを、約3.5ミリワット/平方センチメートル(mW/sq cm)の強度及びNIST単位で測定したとき約1680ミリジュール/平方センチメートル(mJ/sq cm)の総エネルギーを有する紫外線(UV)に曝露した。パッケージを形成し、硬化させる方法は、米国特許第5,804,610号の実施例1に記載されており、この主題は参照することにより全体を本明細書に組み込まれる。

スキン接着剤調製手順
60mmの共回転2軸押出成形機(Berstorffから入手可能)を用いて感圧性接着剤を配合した。ポリモーダルで非対称な星型ブロックコポリマー(「PASBC」)を米国特許第5,393,373号に従って調製し、その主題を参照することにより全体を本明細書に組み込む。ポリマーは、ポリスチレン標準を用いて較正したSEC(サイズ排除クロマトグラフィー)により測定した数平均分子量は、2つの末端ブロックが約4,000ダルトン及び約21,500ダルトン、腕部が127,000〜147,000ダルトン、星部が約1,100,000ダルトンであった。ポリスチレン含量は、9.5〜11.5重量%であった。高分子量腕部のモルパーセントは、約30%と推定された。
発泡体コア層を50mmのBONNOT単軸押出成形機で加工した。押出成形機は120℃で稼働させた。次いで、混合物を2軸押出成形機(40mm BERSTORFF(ZE−40)共回転2軸押出成形機)のゾーン1に注入し、そこでF−100発泡性ポリマー微小球と混合した。標準的な配合軸設計を用い、前方に搬送し、次いでゾーン2の混練セクションに送り、残りのゾーンで自己拭き取り搬送要素を用いてゾーン2、ゾーン4、及びゾーン6で逆混練した。軸速度は125RPMであった。押出成形機の温度は104℃に設定し、ホース及びダイ温度は193℃に設定した。この温度プロファイルによって、配合中の発泡が防止され、発泡性ポリマー微小球の破裂が最小限に抑えられた。押出品の流れは、NORMAGギアポンプを用いて制御した。0.23kg/時の速度でKTron KCL−KC20注入機を用いて2軸押出成形機のゾーン8に発泡性ポリマー微小球を計量注入した。幅25.4cmのドロップダイを1mmで調整し(shimmed)、193℃で稼働させた。
厚さ6.4mm(1/4インチ)のアルミニウムで作製された2枚のT−ブロックの30mm×30mmの平面に3M Company製のN200Jプライマーで下塗りした。下塗りした表面間に25mm×25mmのサンプルを配置し、2枚のT−ブロックを接着した。T−ブロックをINSTRON引張試験機に実装し、1.3mm/分(0.05インチ/分)の速度で引き離した。ピーク分離力をキログラム力の単位で「引っ張り力」として報告する。
30mm×30mm×30mmのアルミニウムのL字型片の30mm×30mmの一面を3M Company製のN200Jプライマーで下塗りした。下塗りした表面を25mm×25mmのサンプルの一面に接着させた。サンプルの反対側の面を、N200Jプライマーで下塗りされた陽極酸化アルミニウムパネルに接着させた。下塗りされた面に対して垂直なアルミニウムのL字型片の脚部を2.5mm/分(0.1インチ/分)の速度でINSTRON引張試験機を用いて引っ張った。ピーク力をキログラム力の単位で表4に報告する。
Claims (3)
- アクリルポリマーと、複数の少なくとも部分的に発泡した発泡性ポリマー微小球と、前記アクリルポリマー100重量部当たり0.3〜1.5重量部の、ASTM D1993−03(2008)に従って測定したとき少なくとも300平方メートル/グラムの表面積を有するシリカと、を含む、発泡体。
- 請求項1に記載の発泡体と、前記発泡体の第1の表面に接着された第1の接着剤と、を含む、発泡体テープ。
- 前記第1の接着剤とは反対側の、前記発泡体の第2の表面に接着された第2の接着剤を更に含む、請求項2に記載の発泡体テープ。
