Description

Claims (15)
- 無線アクセスネットワークを通して特定の周期的ビット列を送信する2つの又は3つ以上の基地送受信局(BTS)のカバレッジエリア内で動作するユーザ装置(UE)ユニットの位置を決定するための方法であって、前記方法は、
a)前記ユーザ装置において、前記特定の周期的ビット列を検出するために前記BTSから受信した着信トラフィックを監視するステップと、
b)前記特定の周期的ビット列から、前記UEユニットの相対位置を2つの又は3つ以上の前記BTSに搬送する少なくとも2つの位置パラメータを決定するステップであって、前記決定するステップは、前記UEユニットの第1アンテナにおいて、第1BTSからの前記特定の周期的ビット列の第1到来角(AOA1)として、第1位置パラメータを決定するステップと、前記UEユニットの第2アンテナにおいて、第2BTSからの前記特定の周期的ビット列の第2到来角(AOA2)として、第2位置パラメータを決定するステップと、を含む、ステップと、
c)前記UEユニットの地理的座標を確立するために前記位置パラメータを処理するステップと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記ステップb)は、
第1、第2及び第3のそれぞれのBTSからの前記特定の周期的ビット列の第1到着時間(TOA1)、第2到着時間(TOA2)及び第3到着時間(TOA3)を確立するステップと、
前記第1到着時間と前記第2到着時間との間の第1時間差(T12)として第1位置パラメータを決定するステップと、
前記第1到着時間と前記第3到着時間との間の第2時間差(T13)として第2位置パラメータを決定するステップと、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記ステップc)は、
前記UEユニットにおいて、前記BTSの地理的座標を取得するステップと、
前記第1時間差(T12)及び前記第2時間差(T13)と前記BTSの前記地理的座標とに基づいて、前記UEユニットの地理的座標を確立するステップと、
を含む、請求項2に記載の方法。 - 前記ステップc)は、
前記UEにおいて、前記BTSの地理的座標を取得するステップと、
前記第1到来角(AOA1)及び前記第2到来角(AOA2)と前記BTSの前記地理的座標とに基づいて、前記UEユニットの前記地理的座標を確立するステップと、
を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1BTS及び第2BTSは、前記第2アンテナにおける前記周期的ビット列の強さに基づいて選択される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記無線アクセスネットワークは、ワイマックス、3GPP LTE及びUMBネットワークのうちの1つである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記特定の周期的ビット列は、各前記BTSにより前記ダウンリンクサブフレームにおいて送信されるプリアンブルである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記特定の周期的ビット列は、各前記BTSにより前記ダウンリンクサブフレームにおいて送信されるパイロットトーンである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記地理的座標を、前記UEユニットに生成された緊急発進に追加するステップと、
前記UEユニットから緊急通報受信センタへ前記発信を送信するステップと、
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 第1アンテナ及び第2アンテナが装備されたユーザ装置(UE)ユニットのための位置識別モジュールであって、前記位置識別モジュールは、
前記着信トラフィックを監視し、少なくとも2つの基地送受信局(BTS)から受信した特定の周期的ビット列を識別するための監視部と、
前記各BTSから前記UEユニットの前記相対位置を搬送する2つの位置パラメータを前記特定の周期的ビット列から決定するための位置パラメータ計算装置であって、前記位置パラメータ計算装置は、前記第1アンテナにおいて第1BTSから受信した前記特定の周期的ビット列の第1到来角として、第1位置パラメータを決定するための手段と、前記第2アンテナにおいて第2BTSから受信した前記特定の周期的ビット列の第2到来角として、第2位置パラメータを決定するための手段と、を備える、位置パラメータ計算装置と、
前記2つの位置パラメータを処理し、前記UEユニットの地前記理的座標を推定するための座標推定器と、
を含む、位置識別モジュール。 - 前記位置パラメータ計算装置は、
第1、第2及び第3のそれぞれのBTSからの前記特定の周期的ビット列の第1、第2及び第3の到着時間(TOA1,TOA2,TOA3)を確立するための手段と、
前記第1到着時間と前記第2到着時間との間の第1時間差(T12)として、第1位置パラメータを決定し、前記第1到着時間と前記第3到着時間との間の第2時間差(T13)として第2位置パラメータを決定するための手段と、
を含む、請求項10に記載の位置識別モジュール。 - 前記座標推定器は、
前記基地局の前記地理的座標を一時的に記憶するためのメモリと、
前記第1時間差及び第2時間差と前記BTSの前記地理的座標とに基づいて、前記UEユニットの前記座標を確立するための手段と、
を含む、請求項11に記載の位置識別モジュール。 - 前記座標推定器は、
前記BTSの前記地理的座標を一時的に記憶するためのメモリと、
前記第1到来角及び前記第2到来角と前記BTSの前記地理的座標とに基づいて、前記UEユニットの前記座標を確立するための手段と、
を含む、請求項10に記載の位置識別モジュール。 - 前記地理的座標を、前記UEユニットに生成された緊急発信に追加し、前記UEユニットから緊急通報受信センタへ前記発信を送信するための位置発信プロセッサをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の位置識別モジュール。
- 前記発信への挿入のために付加的な詳細な位置情報を前記位置発信プロセッサに提供するためのGPSユニットを含む、請求項14に記載の位置識別モジュール。
