Description
[1] 新世代のブラインドファスナは、単一ディメンションのコレット部材の使用を通して少なくとも2つの工作物の非永続的な関与を可能にしており、それぞれの工作物は、定められた範囲の可能な太さを有しており、それにより可変な深さの腔部または穴部を提供する。特許文献1を参照。この特許願の内容をここで援用する。

前記コレット本体(20)は、略円形の開口部を形成する第1端部(22)と、該第1端部(22)に隣接する第1壁部(24)とを含み、
前記第1壁部(24)は、内面(26)と、外面(28)と、前記第1端部(22)方向に配向した先導面(32)と、前記第1端部(22)から離れる方向に配向した追尾面(34)とを含んだ前記外面から延びる突出部(30)とを含んでおり、
前記第1壁部(24)は、それぞれが前記第1端部(22)に先端を有する少なくとも2本のフレキシブルな指状部(40)を形成するため、前記第1端部(22)からそれぞれの終端部まで縦方向に延びる少なくとも2つの副スロット(36)を形成しており、
前記コレット本体(20)は、略円形の開口部を形成する第2端部(52)と、該第2端部(52)に隣接する第2壁部(54)とをさらに含み、
前記第2壁部(54)は、内面(56)と外面とを有しており、
前記第1壁部(24)、前記第2壁部(54)、または、前記第1壁部(24)および前記第2壁部(54)の内面一つは、ネジ溝部(58)を含んでおり、
前記第2壁部(54)は、2部材の回転防止手段の第1部分を形成する少なくとも2つの断面部(68)を有する少なくとも一つのセグメントを形成するため、前記第2端部(52)から終端部(66)まで縦方向に延びる少なくとも一つの回転防止手段スロット(64)を形成しており、
前記シリンダ本体(80)は、略円形の開口部を形成する第1端部(82)と、該第1端部(82)に隣接する第1壁部(84)とを含んでおり、
前記第1壁部(84)は、内面(86)と外面(90)とを有しており、
前記シリンダ本体(80)は、略円形の開口部を形成する第2端部(100)と、該第2端部(100)に隣接する第2壁部(102)とをさらに含んでおり、
前記第2端部(100)は、本ファスナの作動中に回転拘束ツールを受領するためのツールインターフェース(100,112)を含んでおり、
第1壁部(84)は、2部材の回転防止手段の第2部分を形成する少なくとも2つの断面部(96)を有する少なくとも一つのセグメントを形成するため、前記第2端部(82)から終端部(94)まで縦方向に延びる少なくとも一つの回転防止手段スロット(92)を形成していることを特徴とし、
前記2部材の回転防止手段の前記第1部分および前記第2部分は、それら間の軸的平行移動を許可させるが、実質的な回転を防止するように係合可能であることを特徴とするブラインドファスナ。 - 前記コレット本体(20)及び前記シリンダ本体(80)は、軸方向に接続され、これにより、これらが完全に分離することを防止することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 軸方向の接続によって、前記2部材の前記第1及び第2部分の間の離脱が防止されることを特徴とする請求項2に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 要素(72)が前記コレット本体の第2壁部(54)の内面(56)に離脱可能に係合して、前記シリンダ本体(80)の部分(88)に移動式に干渉することを特徴とする請求項2に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 前記シリンダ本体(80)の第2端部(100)の外径は、前記第1端部(82)の外径より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 前記シリンダ本体(80)の第2端部(100)によって定められた開口は、ネジ部材(120)のヘッド(130)を完全に受ける大きさで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 前記コレット本体(20)の第2壁部(54)の外径は、前記シリンダ本体(80)の第1壁部(84)の外径と実質的に等しいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 前記コレット本体(20)の第2壁部(54)の外径は、その全ての部分を通して実質的に同じであり、且つ、前記シリンダ本体(80)の第1壁部(84)の外径は、その全ての部分を通して実質的に同じであることを特徴とする請求項7に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 前記コレット本体(20)と回転式に結合可能なネジ部材(120)をさらに備えることを特徴とする請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のブラインドファスナ。
- 前記ネジ部材(120)は、2方向に該ファスナによって軸方向に規制されていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のブラインドファスナ。
