Description
Claims (12)
- 窒素酸化物を除去する方法であって、
窒素酸化物を含む液体、スラリー、スラッジもしくは固体の廃棄物物質を供給する段階;
下方部分、中間部分および上方部分を有する反応床を含む流動床反応容器を準備する段階;
流動床反応容器を800℃より上の操作温度に加熱する段階;
過熱水蒸気を含む流動気体、炭素質物質、鉱化添加剤および廃棄物物質を流動床反応容器反応床に添加し、流動気体を、廃棄物物質を撹拌し及び反応床からの微細固体を分級する速度で注入する段階であって、該鉱化添加剤は粘土、ゼオライト、シリカゲル、シリカ、ケイ酸塩、リン酸塩化合物、カルシウム化合物、マグネシウム化合物、チタン化合物、鉄化合物およびアルミニウム化合物からなる群より選ばれる、段階;及び
揮発性元素を水不溶性の物質へと鉱化し、かつ廃棄物物質中の窒素酸化物をN 2 に還元する還元状態下で、少なくとも反応床の下方部分を操作する段階
を含む方法。 - 反応床の下方部分に過熱水蒸気と共に、該下方部分が全体的に還元状態で稼動する量の酸素を共注入する段階をさらに含む請求項1記載の方法。
- 上方部分に、該上方部分が全体的に還元状態で稼動する量の酸素を注入する段階をさらに含む請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 上方部分に、該上方部分が酸化状態下で稼働する量の酸素を注入する段階をさらに含む請求項1又は2記載の方法。
- 中間部分に、該中間部分が全体的に還元状態下で稼働する量の酸素を注入する段階をさらに含む請求項1〜4のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 廃棄物物質が硫黄、塩化物、フッ化物もしくはヨウ化物化合物を含む請求項1〜5のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 反応床が不活性ビーズから成る請求項1〜6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 還元状態が、廃棄物物質中の全ての窒素酸化物をN 2 に還元するのに十分である請求項1〜7のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 流動気体が、水素、メタン、二酸化炭素、一酸化炭素、炭化水素蒸気、窒素およびアンモニアのうちの1種以上をさらに含む請求項1〜8のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 鉱化添加剤が、粘土である請求項1〜9のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 最大操作温度が、この方法から得られる廃棄物形態の最小溶融温度に等しい請求項1〜10のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 廃棄物を反応容器反応床に注入する前に、鉱化添加剤が投入廃棄物と混合される請求項1〜11のいずれか1項記載の方法。
