Description
尚、ゼオライトの種類によってもアンモニアの飽和吸着量が異なるので、前記両選択還元型触媒5A,5Bに異なる種類のゼオライトを触媒材料として選定することでも対応でき、より具体的には、同じ温度条件での単位容積当たりのアンモニア吸着量が相対的に多いゼオライトを上流側の選択還元型触媒5Aに使用し、同じ温度条件での単位容積当たりのアンモニア吸着量が相対的に少ないゼオライトを下流側の選択還元型触媒5Bに使用するようにしても良い。

Claims (1)
- 排気管の途中に酸素共存下でも選択的にNOxをアンモニアと反応させ得る選択還元型触媒を設け且つ該選択還元型触媒より上流側の排気管内に還元剤として尿素水を添加してNOxを還元浄化するようにした排気浄化装置であって、選択還元型触媒をアンモニアに対する飽和吸着量曲線の異なる二つの選択還元型触媒を組み合わせて構成し、同じ温度条件での単位容積当たりのアンモニア吸着量が相対的に多い方の選択還元型触媒を上流側に、少ない方の選択還元型触媒を下流側にして両選択還元型触媒を直列配置し、同じ温度条件での温度上昇により両選択還元型触媒から脱離するアンモニアの量である両選択還元型触媒からのアンモニア脱離量のうち、下流側の前記選択還元型触媒からのアンモニア脱離量が相対的に少なくなるようにしたことを特徴とする排気浄化装置。
