Description
さらに、制御手段がスイッチ回路を制御し、駆動回路と接続する電極片の本数を、少なくとも三段階で被検出物と電極との距離が増加すると共に増加させることによって、被検出物の検出可能な距離と検出位置の位置精度のバランスを図ることが可能となり、高精度に位置の検出が可能な入力装置を得ることができるという作用を有するものである。
図1は本発明の一実施の形態による入力装置の断面図、図2は同入力装置を用いた電子機器の分解斜視図であり、同図において、21はガラスあるいはポリエチレンテレフタレートやポリエーテルサルホン、ポリカーボネート等の光透過性樹脂の上面カバー、22は同じく光透過性樹脂やガラスなどの上基板、23は同じくガラスや光透過性樹脂などの下基板である。

Claims (3)
- 複数の電極片を複数並べて配列された電極と、前記電極片にそれぞれ接続されたスイッチからなるスイッチ回路と、前記電極からスイッチ回路を介して接続された駆動回路および検出回路と、前記駆動回路および前記スイッチ回路および前記検出回路に接続された制御手段から構成され、
前記駆動回路が発生した電界が前記電極の上方の空間を介して、前記検出回路に流入され、前記検出回路に接続された制御手段が被検出物の有無を判定するもので、前記電極片ごとに、前記駆動回路あるいは前記検出回路と接続または開放状態とする制御を前記スイッチごとに前記制御手段が行い、前記制御手段が前記スイッチ回路を制御し、前記駆動回路と接続する前記電極片の本数を、少なくとも三段階で前記被検出物と前記電極との距離が増加すると共に増加させる入力装置。 - 検出回路として差動検出回路を用いた請求項1記載の入力装置。
- 制御手段がスイッチ回路を制御し、被検出物の下方にある電極片と、被検出物の下方に無い電極片とで、駆動回路と接続する電極片の本数を変化させる請求項1記載の入力装置。
