Claims (14)
- 永久磁石(1)を用いて位置を求めるための方法であって、
前記永久磁石(1)の磁束密度Bのベクトル及び局所勾配が位置センサー(2)のロケーションにおいて測定され、
前記位置センサー(2)に対する前記永久磁石(1)の磁気双極子の位置r及び向きが、前記磁束密度Bの前記ベクトル及び前記局所勾配から計算され、
均質な磁化を有する球形永久磁石(1)が用いられる
ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記磁束密度Bの前記ベクトル及び前記局所勾配は、複数の3D磁界センサー(3)を用いて測定され、前記複数の3D磁界センサーは、平面内の前記位置センサー(2)内に配置され、該平面内の2つの直交座標空間方向において前記局所勾配を測定できるようにすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- ホールセンサーが前記3D磁界センサー(3)として用いられることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の方法。
- 5つの3D磁界センサー(3)が、前記磁束密度Bの前記ベクトル及び前記局所勾配の測定に用いられ、該3D磁界センサーのうちの4つは仮想的な長方形の4つの角に配置され、該3D磁界センサーのうちの1つは該長方形の中心に配置されることを特徴とする請求項2又は3に記載の方法。
- 前記永久磁石(1)及び前記位置センサー(2)はそれぞれ物体上に固定され、該物体の相対的な位置及び向きが求められることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 永久磁石(1)と、該永久磁石(1)とは別に配置される位置センサー(2)とを用いて位置を求めるための装置であって、
前記位置センサー(2)は、該位置センサー(2)のロケーションにおいて前記永久磁石(1)の磁束密度Bのベクトル及び局所勾配を測定するように実装され、該磁束密度Bの該ベクトル及び該局所勾配から、前記位置センサー(2)に対する前記永久磁石(1)の磁気双極子の位置r及び向きを計算する解析電子回路を有し、
前記永久磁石(1)は球形であり、かつ均質な磁化を有する装置。 - 前記位置センサー(2)は、前記磁束密度Bの前記ベクトル及び前記局所勾配を測定する複数の3D磁界センサー(3)を有し、該3D磁界センサーは、平面内に、該平面内の2つの直交座標空間方向において前記局所勾配を測定するように配置されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載の装置。
- 前記3D磁界センサーはホールセンサーであることを特徴とする請求項9に記載の装置。
- 前記磁束密度Bの前記ベクトル及び前記局所勾配を測定するための前記位置センサー(2)は、5つの3D磁界センサー(3)を有し、該3D磁界センサーのうちの4つは仮想的な長方形の4つの角に配置され、該3D磁界センサーのうちの1つは該長方形の中心に配置されることを特徴とする請求項9又は10に記載の装置。
- 前記位置センサー(2)はASICであることを特徴とする請求項8〜13のいずれか一項に記載の構成。
